OSU’s spring practices start on Tuesday.
I’m not going to be intrigued by anything after a 3-9 season. Hoping Gundy takes the entire spring practice off.

Cool, go away.
You just acknowledged you’re not interesting in the upcoming season. Therefore, you’re just going to gripe about last season and the last 20 years, you only say four things, and everyone’s heard those four things 4,000 times. So… you’ve essentially stated you’re going to add absolutely nothing at least for the entirety of the offseason. Presumably, you won’t watch next season since you have no interest or expectation. You can just peace on out.

There’s a difference between you and I. I’m a fan of the program, and you’re a fan of the coach. So why don’t you leave then? I don’t need to change anything. Our HC is headed the Gary Patterson route currently in case you haven’t paid attention to the trends. Unless Gundy drastically changes his outlook on current CF environment (which he’s shown he’s almost incapable of doing). Then I highly doubt we see another conference title in the Gundy era. We might even find it difficult to make a bowl game. So you go ahead and continue to cheer for mediocrity on here. In the mean time, I’ll still be asking what needs to be accomplished to win a conference with no BB schools.

It’s not that I’m not intrigued about the season. I’ve seen so many regular bowl results that it becomes redundant. My issue is that if a championship isn’t the goal. Then why bother to pay any attention to spring ball? I didn’t forget who’s still in charge of the program. I wasn’t the one that said “If you’re not first, your last”. That was the guy who finished dead last in the conference last season that said it. I’ve been waiting almost 14 years to be proven wrong. I don’t think the spring is a good measure on how the team will do next season anyway. I was told how this team last spring would compete for a conference title. They didn’t come anywhere close to doing that. You guys might easily forget results, but I don’t

In addition to the Gary Patterson comparison you can add Mack Brown …likewise, I predict a similar outcome for Gundy as Patterson and Brown … Can David Taylor coach FB?

I guess you decided to ignore that I said a spring practice doesn’t necessarily determine a future outcome. As seen from 2024 . Which is what I’m referring to. It’s one thing to look great against your 2’s and 3’s. It’s another when you have to face equal talent or better.

Then what did that have to do with 3-9? If spring practice doesn’t matter period, it doesn’t matter what the record was. You just wanted to show off your Gundy Derangement Syndrome and you can’t keep a consistent train of thought across two consecutive posts.

I’ve been a fan wayyyy longer than someone that just strolled in and thought he was a coach instead of a wanna be coach. You dam sure aren’t a fan, a fan acknowledges accomplishments in any sport. You are just too dumb to learn any rules other sport, besides if you are a fan your cheer for every sport. Only comment in any post of other sports is to drop snide remarks against the football team.
It’s not the coach I’m supporting it’s the team. I could care who it is as long as we make strides and we don’t have a bunch of thugs repping us

My consistent train of thought has always been:
Is this good enough to compete for a Big 12 championship?
Why is that so difficult for you to understand? How many times would you like me to repeat that for you? If we haven’t done it for 14 years, and found a way to finish dead last in a conference with no BB schools, and returning the most starters in Gundy’s history I might add. Tell me what else I should expect to see from this spring practice that’s going to translate to next season? Because it was obvious, based on last season’s results, that we weren’t even close to competing for a conference title.
As I’ve said before, two fired coordinators might get us to 6-6. I don’t see it being good enough to win a Big 12 title. That’s the difference between you and I that you can’t seem to wrap your head around. You’re good with 7-6, and I’m not. It’s really as simple as that. It’s not complicated at all.
What if that season is 8-4 ? You will join in like all the fence riders That’s been your MO since I’ve seen you post. You don’t get it both ways. Course every fan base has them. You aren’t as bad as the guy you call “ my man “

I’m hoping for the best and Gundy goes out winning, not at 3-9. As much as the haters in here said no way , I heard from good sources Zac was interested. Whether he’d a good college coach remains to be seen

The absolute best version of Oklahoma State football is not competing for the conference title every year. Even if we had lived up to our hype and won the conference last year, this year wasn’t going to be that type of year. All of our best players are graduating or going to the NFL draft. If, at any point, anyone is talking about us in the conference hunt, that will be an excellent year for us this year. To not be interested in the team yeae by year because they’re not going to win the conference is a crappy attitude. This year is going to be laying the foundation for the next two or three years.
We already know what you’re going to do. You’re going to praise the same guy that went 3-9 for going 8-4 if it does happen. Not even acknowledging that it’s the SAME person that caused the 3-9 issue in the first place.
I imagine it’ll be something like “8-4 is a hell of a lot better than 3-9” when the reality is Gundy should probably be at least going 8-4 in a watered down conference with no BB schools to blame in the first place.
It’s like a politician that causes a major issue, and then wants credit from his voters for fixing an issue he helped cause in the first place. Good grief!!! Will you guys please use your brains for one single moment?
