Talyn Shettron was because OU chose not to offer his brother. Daniels was because OU had a different plan for him that he didnt agree with.
Aden Kelly: Chose OSU over TCU and Iowa St. 4th best player in the state
Collin Oliver: Chose OSU over Boise St, Arkansas and Colorado. 6th best player in OK
Grayson Boomer: Chose OSU over Nebraska and Ole Miss. OU did offer him in April, then backed off once Austin Stogner committed. 2nd best player in OK
Trace Ford: Chose OSU over Baylor and Houston. 5th best in Ok
CJ Moore: OU never offered him. Top rated player in OK. (OU WOULDVE offered him if he werent so in the boat with OSU, so ill give you THIS ONE)

Sorry I didn’t research it better. My fault. But…even if it was Miles the point still stands. They let OU beat them to the punch. And that’s a program identity thing. “Well, he grew up an OSU fan, so we don’t need to work as hard to get him.” If you think the kid is good enough to potentially go to OU, thus causing you nightmares, then you work your azz off to get him before they can. That was my main point, I guess. My bad.
