Using some Meacham metrics to determine who OSU’s next coach might look to retain.
I was hoping Noah Mckinney would stay!

I do not care if we retain Hauss Hejny one whit. If he stays and he ends up being good enough to start and win, great, but I’ve seen nothing to indicate that is true. He played part of one game against an FCS team.
I think maybe you have forgotten that he has elite speed. Something that cannot be taught.
Hard to speak on Hejne without knowing who the coach coming in is and what kind of system they’ll be trying to run.
Also, didn’t Josh Ford commit to OU during a mid-season visit or did I just imagine that?
Speed is a nice bonus for a QB. It’s not among the most important traits, though. Decision-making, accuracy, arm strength, intelligence, leadership, etc. all more important. If they have those things and they’re fast, that’s gravy. If he has those traits, awesome, but I won’t be disappointed if he doesn’t come back. I won’t be happy if he leaves, either. It’s just whatever. He’s a question mark.
