Dude if you are in it for the storylines and like games that are as entertaining as good movies…you have to play The Last of Us.
The opening scene. GUH.
I mowed through Halo and Halo 2 remastered on PC last month. IT WAS AMAZING! They did a great job making the cinemas 2020 quality.

I am sad (now) to discover Last of Us is a PS exclusive because of Naughty Dog.
The Last of Us was a video game masterpiece, legit had me in my feelings half the game. I’ve enjoyed the combat a lot more in The Last of Us 2, but I agree that the story has not been as great as the first one.
Absolutely cannot wait for Ghosts of Tsushima to come out next month. Probably will be my last PS4 purchase before I try to preorder the PS5 whenever that is available.
Yep, still the nerd thread.

Go back to the running thread, Gary.
Promise not to put any more “rectangular” or “skillet” routes in there?

I’ll try Orion’s Belt next time.

Finished it Tuesday night. Still upset. The game was ■■■■ near perfect in every aspect except the story. The controls could’ve been better but they weren’t bad by any means. Everything looked and sounded absolutely amazing. I liked the combat except for the button mashing at times. The story really killed it for me.
Well…fart.
I would still give it a play through. You might enjoy it as I seem some people claim to have enjoyed the story it told. I don’t know how they did but to each their own I guess.
Was it the story itself that stunk to you, or the presentation of it?
I also kept from any spoilers and played the game blind if that makes a difference in my disappointment or not.
Both. The pacing was not the greatest at times. I’ll admit I was sucked in for the first half of the game ~15 hous roughly. Once you start the back half I felt it was a slog and tried to get through it quicker than taking my time doing everything.
Has anyone seen the trailer for the Avengers video game? Seems like I’m the only person that’s still excited about it.
Haven’t kept up with it as superhero stuff isn’t really my thing.
That game has taken so dang long to be released.
I’m getting close to wrapping up Divinity Original Sin 2. It’s a been a lot of fun.
I feel like a little kid. Y’all are playing grown up games and I’m busy playing Luigi’s Mansion 3 and Super Mario Bros. on the Switch.

Did anyone enjoy the Metro series? I have played the first and 2033. Enjoyed the game play even though it was very linear.
