The real reason is coaching. Gundy gets outcoached by Bill Snyder, Art Briles, Bob Stoops. When talent is close between the teams, Gundy gets to predictable and to consecutive.

How could the talent ever have been close with stoops? I thought 5 and 4 stars are superior no matter how they perform on the field?

Ok again for the third time the question was “what has changed from this year that gives Baylor and OU the advantage next year?” If you are saying coaching is it well Baylor will have the same coach next year so that doesn’t compute. The OU coach is new and I don’t consider him to be an upgrade over his predecessor. So not a compelling argument to me, IMO
