Let’s do it again.
Eh….I’m taking into account we have a different coaching staff as well
.
So basically the 5 to 7 wins I’m expecting.
I think EA took that into account.
Let’s see how are offensive line and defensive line plays against Oregon! Do they push us back 2 to 5 yards before we even hand off the football? Does Mestemaker have adequate time to throw? Does our DLine hold their own? Or there gapping holes for them to run untouched for 5+ yards. It will be a barometer game in a lot of respects but not the ultimate outcome. PS. I thought UCF and K-State and Colorado where rated to high - I believe those games are winnable but again really would like to see our defensive play——I looked at NT games last year and they gave up way to many points - the jury is still out on our DC
You sir have a lot more faith in EA than me. They’ve been pumping out straight dookie for the last decade.
Feels like a solid simulation.
Like any preseason polls, I don’t take much stock in it
The dog days of summer for college football fans…
I’m glad we’re not a sim.
Yea….but in NCAA 26 They were given a 74 overall rating which would’ve placed them in the 3-4 win category at least. They ended up 1-11 in reality.
Maybe so. Some people (Like HeyChamp) are giving Morris crap for losing 63-36 to USF. While ignoring the fact that EM made it to his conference title game and lost to a team that made the CFP.
Where have we seen this play out before? Oh yeah, we saw Gundy get blown away 33-7 to South Bama, and then make it to the conference title game losing to Texas who made the CFP
.
So it’s totally okay to justify Gundy when he literally did the same thing (worse actually). However, let’s criticize Morris on his success at North Texas before he’s even coached at single game at OSU
.
Did any of the simulations pass the eye test? ![]()

I can answer the question of “how will our lines look against Oregon”?. Not good. Oregon is very good up front. I said OSU would win 8 games the day Morris was hired, so im not a pessimist. But they are a long way from being ready to compete with Oregon
Would you mean like 69-3 long way, or maybe 49-27 long way?
My niece lives in Oregon - they basically think they’ll do to oSu, what Indiana did to them in the semifinals.
oSu
So you’re saying we will see some improvement??
