A look at where the former Pokes are headed.
So it seems like former Cowboys either made lateral moves or went to G5 schools. So what gives? I wouldn’t think they transferred for more playing time…with so many leaving? Or do they see the 3 incoming frosh as stiff competition? It doesn’t seem like NIL was a big factor especially with the smaller schools. Did they want to go to the NCAA tournament? …seems like they went to schools whose paths might be similar to last years cowboys? What do others think?

I think some of these guys saw the writing on the wall that better players would be coming in. These guys could not compete once we got into the Big 12 schedule. They were exposed.
If all the new players can gel and the freshman live up to their potential in the first year then we will make the big dance. Otherwise I look to the year after next if we do not lose our good players to the portal.
