Why do you assume that if we have a new coach that we couldnā€™t be in a close game with an FCS foe? The truth is if OSU doesnā€™t get into the P12 or ACC then all your worries are for naught because our program will decline into mediocrity. Weā€™re not going to win a National Championship. The last new team to win a NC was Florida in 1996. Before that it was Florida St in 1993. Itā€™s a rigged game.

What you did say was that Riley has never won a game as an underdog and that is simply not true. The reason why you get into these debates is because you donā€™t know the facts and history of the game. Iā€™m still waiting to see the list of 21 point leads that Riley has given up in the last 10 games. You can have your own opinion but not your own set of facts.

Riley has not won any of his playoff games. Is that better. You got guys telling us how great if a coach riley is. You would think he would coach to that level.
Just like this years hype is their defense.
Being an underdog means clear cut u are not as good as the other team. Lose by 30 to lsu show he got them up.
I started this mainly to show Joey that his arguments about gundy is in all coaches. I should have to explain underdog. Just like ur betting line. If the line is 3 points or less to the home team then Las Vegas think itā€™s an even game, but think home team wins. Ou hasnā€™t been an underdog in many of their games.
If Tulane would have won that game, they donā€™t lead with" 30 point underdog wins game".
I guess u will need to explain ur definition of underdog.

I think Willie would probably want to win more than 7 games a year and would try everything he can to win more. Not just tell everyone he thinks being average is a good thing like Gundy did. I donā€™t think he would be satisfied winning by 7 as a 33 point favorite.

I never said we would. Would be nice to play for a Big 12 title maybe. Iowa State, TCU, Baylor, and Texas have, but for some reason Mike Gundy the offensive genius canā€™t.

Maybe win more than one bedlam game every eight years since the program is supposed to be better. Texas, Iowa State, K State, and Baylor have all proved beating OU twice in 16 seasons can be done (As did Les Miles), but Mike Gundy canā€™t figure it out.

Maybe score at will like we did in 2010 and 2011? Maybe not look like an offense thatā€™s never played a down if college football against a 1AA school?

So you say at least ou scored 40 on Tulane, but itā€™s the defense that gave up 35 which is terrible. On the other hand OSU only scored 23 which sucks, but the defense only gave up 16, so you can spin half full or half empty.

Letā€™s get Campbell in here his team scored 16 against a non playoff fcs team. They held hall to well under half his yardage. Itā€™s the first week, and the same thing happen to us happen all over the place. Washington ranked 20 scored 7.
Iā€™ve discussed problems I didnā€™t like in the game. U joey.have just keep going on on about bs that coach like riley and Campbell do.
Things like playing down to their competition. Check, both did yesterday.
Hype about osu. Check, hype about isu with all there players coming back, then score 16. Ou hyped up defense, which will win a natty for them, give up 35.

No. I learned that by watching Gundy and comparing him to other P5 programs that have coaches who try to resemble some kind of offense.

I never said anything bad about the defense. To further prove my point the points per game average on offense has gone down every season since 2018. Based on what we all seen on Saturday itā€™s safe to assume that trend will continue.
