- I’m not gonna jump on the “fire this coach, fire this coach” wagon;
- I will say the unit that has fallen way short of my expectations is the defensive line. I wasn’t overly impressed with Kirkland last year, but I am big on Collin Clay, Xavier Ross and Kody Walterscheid (and, of course, Oliver). We have a new defensive line coach. Something tells me we lost something in the coaching transition.

How do you get worse with more? How do you find yourself dead last in the conference when you returned the most starters in the conference? The issues existed long before the injuries did. So I don’t want to hear it.
They did this same nonsense last season, and they did it again this season. OSU football doesn’t have the luxury to keep spending top 15 pay on chitty coaches and wasting a gifted roster when they want.
If Arkansas didn’t beat themselves we would be sitting at 2-5 with our only wins being against an FCS school and Tulsa. Outside of little improved coaching Friday night. We have absolutely no edge on the coaching side against nearly every team we play.
Dunn has only had a top 50 offense one time in five seasons. Nardo’s defense finished 125th last season. So far, he’s currently at 129th. Dickey’s lines are largely inconsistent. No……I want coaches that’ll actually do their job at the BEGINNING of the season and not midway through it. It started this way last season as well.
You can find solid assistant coaches if you’re going to give them top 15 pay. You shouldn’t have to have the boosters, alums, fans, and administrators booing you or telling you how crap your coaching is. We don’t have solid coaches right now. We have a bunch of “Gundy Yes Men”.

The coaching is horrendous and I’ve never heard Gundy acknowledge he is at the top of the coaching tree, and therefore, fully responsible for all the ineptness!
Dickey, Dunn, & Nardo should have been gone at least 2 weeks ago!
Instead Gundy yaps about why he doesn’t replace coaches during the season!

If Chad does what a spineless coward that I think he is will do is keep this gundy guy that can’t recruit a lick and he will exceed expectations next year and win nothing and everyone that hasn’t followed gundy’s teams will be excited about the next two years and when they expect a championship run he will chit down his leg like the last 15 years. Yea……BYU was the first P4 team so far this season we scored over 30 on. I’d say Dunn is a problem, and he doesn’t actually try to do anything until midway through the season (just like last season). So yea….he’s definitely a problem!!!

Again, what does any of this have to do with us being 3-4 (0-4) in the conference while returning the most starters? If you can’t see that it’s clearly a coaching issue then I don’t know what else to tell you. If you want to continue blindly supporting the problem then go ahead.
We’ve all been telling you what the solution has been since 2022. You don’t keep coaches that only want to coach for half a season. Especially when they’re receiving top 15 pay. Your solution is to hold onto the same problem that’s causing the issue in the first place. Good luck having any chance of winning the conference or making the CFP supporting that kind of blatant ignorance. Hell, based on what I’ve seen so far good luck making your annual bowl game .
Everything that could go right last year, went right. The inverse has been true this year. Stuff happens.
