I was not trying to create the storm it appears I created with my comment on this thread as others have weighed in. My point is simply I did not hear words of “attack” specifically against Lanning. That is what Moore states. Gundy attacked Lanning which = attacking my father. To say he attacked the coach by saying the program spends lots of money so they should be great is an overreaction in my opinion that Gundy attacked the coach. So if you see that as an attack, sure that is your opinion. Gundy should not have made any comments regarding finances in another university.

it doesn’t make any difference if you called me out about it like I run away from a asz kicking deluxe. I’ve been a supporter of Gundy for the last 3 years when we have been bad. I no longer think he can fix it. I don’t know of anyone that can fix it right now. If we had played to our strengths which was surprising cause we were running the ball, we could have run more time off the clock so they don’t score more points 
I also haven’t seen a team that can beat Oregon when they play like they did yesterday.
At any route you take it’s certainly the haves and the have nots Plannings day will come. There’ are two types of coaches , the ones fired and the ones going to be fired Gundy is about to join the fired if he doesn’t resign, virtually the same. Until they put limits on spending for players it will be the same Who the hell would go to Oregon for school if Knoght hasn’t made them relevant.
It’s been a good run with Gundy for 21 years. He is still respected for what he’s done in his career, his time is now

You maybe the only one on here that likes to hear repeat after repeat boy emphasis on boy. Most have him blocked as they do you expect you only post when you’re drunk and get the courage up to post. The starters were pulled with 9 min to go IN THE 3RD QTR. The Ducks threw 4 passes the last 24 min of the game, 2 of which were by the 3rd string QB. The offense quit “trying” once it got to 55. The last 2 TD’s were scored by the defense. Oregon couldve scored 80 pretty easily. Lanning showed mercy.

For you people solely looking at Lanning and Gundys comments thru Cowboy Colored glasses, try to take a step back. Was either coach “attacking” the other? Of course not. They were veiled shots taken by both. Did Gundy say anything factually incorrect? Of course not. Did Lanning? No, he didnt either. I can defintely see how both sides got offended. Its easy for the OSU people to assume that Lanning is saying OSU isnt invested in winning, even though he didnt say that. Its also easy for an Oregon fan to assume Gundy means that the only reason Oregon wins is because of money, even though he didnt say it. For either side to not get why the the other would be bothered is pretty dumb. Fot those on here saying “Gundy simply told the truth”…thats a fact. That doesnt mean he SHOULDVE said it the week of playing that team. Or that he shoudve said it at all. People on here dont like that Lanning comes off as seemingly saying OSU doesnt want to win…but they catn understand why Gundy comes off as seemingly saying money is the only reason Oregon wins. Double standards fellas

Agree. Gundy has fully become the story. Not his team.
I understand its a blowout loss to a really good team. But they looked really, really bad. Bad enough that several people in my world (none of whom carry any kind of big stick, but are a couple of lower level donors) said that its time to move on. Theyve been Gundy supporters throughout and Sat they said it was time for a change. I do have a birthday dinner tonight with a family friend who’s dad is a very heavy hitter. Ill check his pulse on where he stands on this whole deal. Im really, really curious to see how this thing plays out the rest of the year. Im smelling a 5-7

He shouldn’t have shown any mercy. Gundy didn’t deserve it. I want a coach like Lanning. Not saying OSU would ever be able to get him, but I want somebody that coaches as if his life depends on it. Somebody who’s young, hungry, and ready to prove himself. Creative with a raging inferno inside of them that burns for championships.
