No, it’s called using data. I would love nothing more than for Gundy to send OU off to the SEC with a loss in Stillwater. I’ve just watched this game too many times to support the notion we’re going to win. Do I think we have a chance? Yes I do. A lot of that depends on what kind of Gundy we get for Bedlam though. Are we going to get the Gundy that pisses down his pants at the beginning of the game and goes into a shell? Or will we get the 2021 Gundy where we used a few trick plays, stayed calm, and didn’t let everything get out of control?

I like to think of it as I see the reality of what life offers. If I go ahead, and prepare for the future based on reality, then I don’t really have to be disappointed. Because I’ve made the decision that I should stick to what’s realistic and logical. That’s serves a better purpose than just hoping something will happen. You want something to happen? Then go make it happen.
The problem here is I’ve never once stated we are a contender every year. If you go back to my posts at the beginning of the year, I chose OSU to go 8-5. Does that sound like someone that thinks we should be a contender every year?
In fact, I’ve stated multiple times I think we should be winning a conference title every 3-4 years or so, and appearing in more NY6 bowls. If we can’t win it when the blue bloods of the conference are having down years. Then when will we? I’m not even asking for a CFP appearance. I’m just asking when we’re going to get to that second tier of college football programs.
