anyone remember seeing those lotuses around campus in like 2013-2015ish? Always heard about the dude that owned them but never met him.
That themed car was built by the engineering school, I believe. My mom had a 1951 Ford pickup that was OSU themed. We had it in the pregame car show a couple years in a row. The first year, that off-road thing (forget what they called it) was entered in the show.
We love our old trucks! Perfect projects to have around. My wife’s '73 Ford belonged to her grandfather. He bought it new in '73. It had been sitting for about 15 years before we brought it home and I got it running again. It looks rough but runs like a top.
My second vehicle to drive was a 1970 C10 pickup. It got totalled in high school and I’ve always wanted another. I finally made it happen last year. It’s about to go through an engine swap to a more modern 5.3L Chevy LS engine and transmission.
