Suesue was a high school quarterback.
Alright so high school qb that played linebacker at byu will play tight end for us I just have one question…
Can he punt?
At that size, probably
Maybe he can be the next Virginia version of Jelani Woods? That would require us actually throwing the ball at the tight end though .
Hey champ,
Since you only say four things, you could probably get an AI to just search for a few basic terms and reword your same gripes over and over again. Then you could spend time getting a life: working off your fat gut, doing something about that body odor, finding a woman to tolerate you, and maybe at the end of it, being just a little bit less miserable.
I’d imagine so seeing that he has done practically everything else.
His qb stats as a high schooler were impressive. He had about a 75% completion rate. He could be valuable cause he can play several positions. Wonder about LB ??
I’m actually doing just fine . You don’t need to tell on yourself.
hey gopokes918,
This guy looks like an athlete. Maybe we’re going to actually use a tight end for the first time since 2009
Everyone is angry because I said what I thought Jelani Woods could be before he transferred. I thought he had the potential to be another Brandon Pettigrew. You had the program down south using a TE and sending them to the NFL . Nope!!! Just go ahead and ignore the middle of the field. Let’s keep doing the same thing we’ve always done
. Look where that landed us last season.
Hey champ,
What does Jelani have to do with last season?
Were we going to win the conference last year with some good tight end play?
Did we “ignore the middle of the field” or did we have an all-time slot receiver?
It’s called coaching, and knowing how to use whatever assets you have. Which Dunn made clear he didn’t know how to do once every coach in the country adjusted to what he was doing.
You can’t do that if you hardly do it.
Do you know the difference between a tight end and slot receiver?
Hey champ,
That was the longest way to say “nothing,” I’ve ever seen.
Cool story. I would guess we would’ve won exactly 0 more games because Bowman would’ve still been the QB.
Do you know what the “middle of the field” is? Presley made plays all over the middle of the field, so your statement that we “ignore the middle of the field” is retarded.
Was coaching, and not knowing what you’re doing not a problem last season? How often did we institute a tight end in the receiving game last season when OG couldn’t get past the line of scrimmage, or when Presley was hurt or off the field? I’ll just point out it wasn’t enough. Which is exactly why Jelani left in the first place. Looks like it did him some good. Because someone actually knew how to use him, and not only did it benefit the offense, but it got him drafted . I’ll also point out Jelani is in the NFL while Dunn is out of a job
.
You can’t blame Bowman for everything. Sure he still throws off his back foot. However, he’s not the one calling plays, and he’s not the OL coach.
No it’s not. Because for the longest time we have ignored the middle of the field. It wasn’t until recently we started taking more chances with Presley in the middle. Why? Because Gundy wanted to make sure nobody got hurt in a contact sport . We sure as hell don’t do it with a tight end. If you’d actually pay attention to the game you would see in the minimal times we do throw it to the TE it’s typically a horizontal pass near the line of scrimmage.
Jelani made all pro this year or was he picking splinters out of his arse last year. I’ll pick the later since he had a 23% drop on passes at Virginia. Stone Hands wasn’t the difference in winning a game because he dropped a lot of balls here. Oh the guy playing down south you talk about is an all pro
Hey champ,
Ok, well, none of that is the tight end except if our OL is that bad, why would we pull a tight end?
Or maybe it was the fact that he led all ACC tight ends with receptions and touchdowns. Also, that means he catching nearly every 4 out of 5 passes thrown his way. You don’t seem to have an issue with Gundy’s 68% winning percentage and one conference title, but all be damned if a player goes to another place, is successful, and makes our previous offensive coaching staff look like a bunch of incompetent clowns .
Why wouldn’t you? If you can’t run the ball anyway, and your QB is barely getting to a 60% completion mark. Then why would you not give him more options in the receiving game?
Yea if I remember right he took Virginia to a whopping 6-6 record ? And dropping 1 out 5 passes isn’t good I could care less about what someone does when they go somewhere else. Virginia isn’t a bastion for football last I remember but you go right ahead with your mediocre stats I’ll take 9-10 wins every time You didn’t answer if Stone Hands makd all pro last year
