Former Oklahoma State Running Back Elijah Collins Signs with Bengals as Undrafted Free Agent

Bill: if Sports Illustrated says we return 21 starters and we don’t have any players drafted, doesn’t that mean that only one player was eligible to be drafted. I mean at Alabama or Georgia the backups might get drafted, but do you really believe OSU backups will be drafted? This is how you write your own narrative. If we returned 22 starters what would be the potential for drafted players?
Regarding the scheduling. Texas made the title game and they played 4 teams with losing records. Again, you are writing your own narrative because you hate Gundy so much. I have never expressed that I am a Gundy loyalist, I simply have no control over the matter, so I just root for OSU.

We made it to the title game because we beat the Sooners. They finished 7-2, tied with us but we beat them. The other team that beat OU was Kansas and we beat them as well. Google it.

Bill, I thought you were concerned about having 7-6 seasons? Is it 10-4 seasons now? I’m just trying to keep up with your increasing appetite ….

He will change up on you after you pin him down. He and his dad hate Gundy, period. Not so sure they don’t dislike OSU , he loves to try and coach

You were fine with it previously. You looked at it as “winning”. So don’t change your position now.

If you’ve proven to me you can go 10-4 with OU and Texas on the schedule. Then you better prove to me you can win a conference that has neither one. Barring serious multiple injuries. I don’t want to hear any lame excuses as to why we can’t win the conference. That’s a fairly simple concept you should be able to understand.

Or……you can go ahead and spend 13+ years after this season making the same excuses for why we didn’t :man_shrugging:. Excuses never helped make a program into a major one. I picked us to go 8-5 last season. Simply because there were more questions marks than there were answers. That’s not the case for this season.

Again, you have written the narrative for the upcoming season. You think we should win the conference and will be livid if we don’t. Isn’t Utah just as big a contender for the B12? 18 returning starters including a QB who has won it twice.
You say we are making excuses for not winning the conference. I’m not making any excuses, I just don’t think the trophy is ours to lose. We just don’t know.

Were picked 7th. Not sure why billy is so high on gundy this year. Since we always finish 4th

I’m not changing it like you would !! I don’t jump to a different narrative when I’m wrong. Lots of teams don’t become bowl eligible every year. Not going to look it up but I think we are currently 3rd on longest bowl streak

I thought you said injuries shouldn’t matter , ( like the 21 CC ) you said it from your mouth we should have better backups. We happened to have a 3rd string rb that didn’t know north and south. So you want to close the book on that or come back with Sanders throwing 4 ints ?
Either way chit happens

He wants to put pressure on Gundy so he can clog the board up with derogatory comments all season

I guess you can’t read. I’m not the one spinning the narrative here. OU and Texas are out of the picture now. That’s been the most single used excuse on this forum by the “just good enough” crowd. You shouldn’t have any expectation NOT to win the conference this season. If we’re so good and top 10 in wins then prove to me you can win a conference with no BB’s.

Having OU and Texas leave sure helps. But that doesn’t mean we are to dominate a 16 team league. The truth is Bill, is you think OSU should become a blueblood. That’s not gonna happen as the revenues from different conferences continue to widen. We should contend for the championship, but I don’t see the point of getting do pissed off, if we don’t. I almost want to have OSU finish 3rd just to see how explosively irritated you will become.
Tick, tick, tick……

Where did I say be dominant? These are the most starters OSU has returned since 2013. If you’re top ten in wins (better in that category than Utah btw) and claim you’re going to be one of the predominant teams in the new conference I shouldn’t expect any reason why you can’t win this new conference THIS SEASON. I never said I expected OSU to be consistently dominant. That claim came from the “good enough” crowd like Mike and Bob.

Not exactly. I’m just asking you to prove to me you can win the conference as many times as Baylor and K State have even when OU and Texas were still here :man_shrugging:.

Thanks for admitting you’re part of the “good enough” crowd.

Blah blah blah. Bill: The know-it-all. What would we do without Bill.
Who would explain to us who a blue blood is?
Who would explain to us how an offense works?
Who would explain the future to us?

I’d say the same thing if all my excuses were refuted as well.

Bill, you think you are smarter than everyone, but you’re not. You just don’t get it.

Bill , aka Joe, joy whatever we call him thinks we should be a BB after sucking for most of 75-80 years of football. Just in the last 20 years have we become relevant. She doesn’t realize that a BB takes generations, not decades. She is the most know it all , in your face with the same old things. Narrative never changes, can’t even enjoy a live thread of a game without her running down either the players or whatever coach he’s pisses at

I don’t get it? I’ve had 12+ years to contemplate on that. I’m fairly sure I do get it :+1:.

K State and Baylor weren’t relevant for most of their school history. They’ve both won the conference three times over the last twenty years. You keep the excuses up though :+1:.
