So tell me why Utah, who returns 18 starters and a Qb who has won two P12 titles and a45-13 TD/Int ratio and a defense that was 13th best in the country is not a contender to win the B12 this year?

But if you are right, now we have K State Baylor and Utah as Blue Bloods.
When we have a coach who can win a conference title more than once, we’ll be starting to become relevant.

Baylor has won 10 conference titles with 4 being co-champions. 1915 to 2021
OSU has won 11 conference titles with 4 being co-champions. 1926 to 2011

Yet here you are claiming we have a legendary coach, and we’re going into year 20 with one conference title. Baylor didn’t have legendary coaches, and K State recently won a conference title with a coach that isn’t considered legendary.
You’re the one that stated relevancy over the last 20 years, not me. I just simply showed you evidence that being a BB or having a legendary coach isn’t a necessary requirement to win a second conference title in two decades. You guys consider Dykes as average, and he’s proven that you can take a school that isn’t BB to play for a national title.

I’m never said Utah isn’t a contender. They very well could win the conference. I’m just telling you we always seem to have an excuse for why we can’t win a second conference title. When evidence shows you don’t need to be any of those things to win the conference. I’m just wondering what excuses we’ll decide to use this time.
How do think TCU feels about winning conference titles? The only one they have in 2014 is because there was no tie breaking rules. They shouldn’t even claim one. Tcu & Baylor both finished 8-1, with Baylor beating TCU. Dykes comes along and plays for a natty, but still TCU comes up short in the conference title game. Tcu fans must have the weirdest expectations.

You have stated that OSU SHOULD win the B12 this year. That means you think OSU is the overwhelming favorite, but they are not. They are a contender. You want to write this narrative. You keep talking about excuses, you are an entitled fan, who thinks just because we built a kickass stadium and pay a coach 7 million that we deserve to win. It’s not how it works. Don’t you think Utah fans think they have a great shot as well. You think it’s the crime of the century that Baylor and Kansas St have 3 titles a piece. Why do you feel that OSU is so much more deserving than them? Because we pay our coach a lot? A lot of his salary has to do with tenure. Blame the administration, don’t blame other fans.

So let me ask you a question. Where’s our conference title, CFP appearance, CFP win, and National Title game appearance at? Or do we need to become a BB to accomplish that?

As you know we have not made the playoff.
I was actually hoping we wouldn’t make it in 2021, because I knew we would get destroyed vs Georgia, like TCU did 65-7 in 2022. Somehow that’s a feather in your cap. Beating Michigan would have been great, but getting your doors blown off by record margins doesn’t excite me. I would love to go to the playoff now that we could host a home game or play an opponent with a realistic chance of winning.
But again, you act like it’s the crime of the century that TCU has one playoff appearance, one win and we don’t.
Listen, you are never going to change. You believe that you have invested enough in the program to reap more awards, but that’s not enough. You demand accountability, but have no measure to enforce it. Why do rant on these sites about things you can never change.

Do you go to the games? If you do, do live and die on each down if it’s successful? Do you criticize the play calling if we’re losing and say it was just enough, when we win. Do you take in the atmosphere of Gameday? Do you tailgate? After the game do you have a beer or are you so upset after a loss, that you leave in disgust cursing the coaches as buffoons? If they just listened to you, titles would flow like a river of orange kool-aid. They would turn Gallagher-Iba into just a room for trophies and awards?
Seriously, do you have any fun watching OSU play or are you haunted by losses and missed opportunities?

I think most OSU fans are not content where we are, fans want more. At the same time I’m thankful for what we have. I went to the BYU game last year and although, I didn’t like the first half, it turned into an exciting nail biter. I was intoxicated with glee, knowing that Sooner fans had all but packed their bags for Arlington, until we destroyed their dreams.
As far as 2011, I’m not sure we would have won or not. LSU would have gone for it on almost every fourth down and our success would have been predicated on that. I do think Blackmon would have had a huge day vs the honey badger. Remember, we weren’t going to play Bama, it was LSU who was undefeated and #1.

Any recruit that isn’t a 4 star is trash Sure everyone wants more titles but we win , not a bunch of teams can say that. I was pisses at half time we weren’t trouncing BYU and it looked like a loss. It did give me a lot of laughs at the goon fans on X having fits. They had a poll on X about a month ago. It took all 130 something teams , made brackets for them like a final four bracket
Gundy won every round till Kirby beat him in the final four. If you want to know the respect Gundy has nation wide read what people say about him that just follow football. That final four was voted on by nationwide people. It shows the respect we get from out of the B12
LSU had already beat Bama so there wasn’t a chance we play them. I think Blackmon, Cooper, Tracy, plus our two running backs run them out of air. We would have to outscore them sure but they hadn’t had a dose of the hurry up offense
