He finished top 3 in Big12 recruiting, per 247, for the first time ever. The average player rating that you cited is also a top 2/3 (donāt remember exactly) in his career as a coach. His recruiting is getting BETTER, but you just want to hate.

Alot of those teams need 5 to 7 players.
- So they will have less players.
- Not much of a chance off get good players since they r signed.
- Hope they find portal players.
So those ave will go down if they get players at all.
Ur really good at seeing numbers at using them if they fit ur agenda.

So 7th on the average player rating is good even improvement. So if we slipped just a little say to 10th next year, that should still be alright. Recruiting donāt mean anything if youāre not competing for a conference title anyway. I mean we should just let Gundy do what ever cause he built this program so itās his to destroy or what ever he wants.

Iām glad I didnāt go to the University of good enough, settle, weāre better than 30 years ago. Stillwater not the kind of place students want to go to. Everyone else cheats so you canāt win.

My comments were to all the supporters of Gundy. I would not say he isnāt trying to do those things but 16 years tells me that his recruiting and game plan against OU and Baylor over the last decade are not going to magically improve. I wouldnāt say any coach we have had in the past wasnāt trying to do everything in their power to get better but we have fired several. I believe the only reason the coaches of the past were fired is because they couldnāt take the program were we want it to go. But now I feel there are several that believe the program canāt get any better.
You tell me you havenāt seen the ones that claim recruiting canāt get better because of Stillwater and itās location. Or we canāt do better because a good coach will never come to Stillwater.
I am saying we canāt do better until we close the massive money gap between us and the top programs. Our athletic budget ranks at 45, which is 7th in the conference. We donāt have the money to get and keep the great coaches you seem to covet. Thus I am happy with Gundy since he does more with less.

Yāall keep talking about money and we canāt afford a great coach. At one time Gundy was in the top ten highest paid coach in the nation. Where are they going to go if we can pay in the top ten? Holder said if Gundy needs something for recruiting all he has to do is ask.
At one time we also finished the season in the top 10, what does that have anything to do with the way things are right now. We are not talking about back then but right now. Right now Gundy is not even a top 25 paid coach. It would take significant money to go get a top 10 coach right now. Also Holder only said that about recruiting in the last year and guess what, our recruiting class got better after that happened. Betting as long as that money keeps flowing things will keep getting better on the recruiting front as well. Pay attention to Fridays announcement and look at the one we got last week as evidence.

They believe any young coach can being brought in to do better.
I think Gundy has got more career assistant. That will help keep coaches and recruit.
