Hard for me wrap my head around you logic. Marshall is an oSu grad. Marshall paid to own an oSu site because he hates Gundy. Writes positive articles about Gundy because he hates Gundy. Donāt get it. Also, the fact Gundy rarely makes himself available for bonus media time I do think the setting was appropriate. If changes donāt happen before Gundy speaks on the issue I would be surprised.
I understand Gundy has lived a privleged existence at oSu. As a player and coach he has been really good for oSu. That is the reason he has lived a privleged life while at oSu IMO. I understand spare the rod and spoil the child.

Did you read the article carefully ? It wasnāt positive in any shape , form or fashion. Shouldāve been the way the game, season went. But it was a skull **** ing the way it was written. Marshal wanted to be the first to ask the question. Not the right time. He knew he wasnāt getting an answer !! Gundy was more pissed. That wasnāt the right time to ask the question when you just got curb stomped !! Gundy has brought us to respectability, but he doesnāt get a free pass

Monken and Knowles arenāt at OSU. These two are part of a long list of quality coordinators who have made their name at OSU and then bailed. Itās kind of dishearting watching dudes, some of them getting their big shot at OSU, playing for the chance at a natty on other teams. Canāt help but wonder if things would be different if they had stuck it out and tried to make something happen at OSU.

Iām aware of where Monken & Knowles currently are coordinating. OSU is absolutely a stepping stone for everyoneā¦ā¦.except Mike Gundy. Which is why those idiots who want him fired are clueless. Heās got flaws. He needs to be better. Butā¦ā¦heās currently the best option for OSU.

@KetchupSicle Yep there are a myriad of ways to answer that question. None of them include the truth. Riley did it his way and Gundy did his version, which btw Iām kind of warming up to the more I think about it. If I was a coach and got asked that question I would have kept the answer short. It would have been āNoā followed by ānext questionā.

However Riley answered it @KetchupSicle Marshall knew Gundy has had bad blood between the two, PFB. why would he ask it knowing heās not getting an answer , especially knowing Gundys character. Heās a smart asx we all know that. Why ask ? Riley is a lot more diplomatic, a lot. Gundy knows he has to change somewhere. He hates firing anyone.

Find one post where Iāve bashed Gundy so far where some criticism may have not been deserved? Iāve never said the dude should be fired or anything. While youāre at it tell me there arenāt at least five people or more on this forum that havenāt mentioned anything negative about Gundy or the other coaches after this season. The only people Iāve seen on here vehemently defend Gundy are you and Robert. Youāve got an obsession dude and you need to cool it. Go get laid or something (if you can).
