I’ve never said you can’t find diamonds in the rough every once in awhile. The only thing I’ve said is that it’s rare. If you think we are going to start beating the teams we need to beat by relying on a few diamonds in the rough against competition loaded with 4 star talent then your even more naive then I thought.
I know for some reason the big 12 chose to call us 4th. Even tho baseball has always used the %. And always place teams with same records as tied.
To me that’s some political bs by the league. In reality we finished 3rd. But what ever u guys need to get off.
But put all that aside. Joe going on about 4th place and 2-12. Just keeps reinforcing his obsession.
In reality we lost to Texas so we probably deserved 4th place.
If you don’t want to be 2-14 then start recruiting better and coaching better. Trying to beat a team loaded with 4 and 5 star talent with a few diamonds in the rough isn’t going to work very often. Les Miles even knew that when he coached here. Especially when we have a coach that’s scared to death of playing OU every season.

Well since the have list with a lineman we never got and left a running back off are score would have changed r score. Plus transfer and juco players r stuck with the high school numbers.
But u could clarify every thing and tells us all( if u have a mind of ur own.) What u think of the last 3 classes.
U act like miles knows something this is why no one can talk to u. Every coach knows that the higher u recruiting class is the better.
The trick is getting them to the central plains of Oklahoma.
And by the names u mentioned u have no idea either.
We had the same league record as Texass. We lost to Texass. We got 4th. I don’t know why you disagree with that.
What do I think of the last three classes? I think they are what they are. That would be average.
Average Coach + Average Recruiting = Mediocre
We didnt have the same record as Texas. But Joe’s coach miles was going to beat Texas. So u cant give Texas a whole win, if they didnt play the game.

Leach never stacked 4 stars at tech or wsu. Bad coach on top that’s way 2 10 win season in 20 yrs.
Barring some freak accident Texass was gonna beat Kansas. You can pencil in Kansas losing that game just like you can pencil in losing bedlam before the season starts.

Texas had three conference losses just like we did.
Iowa State only had 1 conference loss which out them 1st. OU had 2 conference losses but beat both Texas and OSU which out then 2nd. Texas beat us and had an equal amount of conference losses which out them at 3rd.
Your ignoring all the evidence in order to support your own agenda and think in your own mind we got 3rd to make you feel better about yourself and Gundy.
What I’ve stated above is why we got 4th. You don’t have to like it but it is what it is. This isn’t that difficult to figure out.

This is why it’s hard to talk to u believe in a magical land. With coaches use fairy dust to recruit. It starts at local and be the top dog in ur local area.
You can pencil in losing to OU and beating Kansas. The rest are a toss up. I don’t even know what point you’re trying to make here.
