South Bama is 4-5, and if you’ve ever paid attention to any of Gundy’s press conferences like you claim you do. Then you would know Gundy told the media this:

Gundy also mentioned the lack of coaching from his staff in his presser after OU regarding the first three games of the season. You guys keep wanting to blame the players for everything, and fail to actually listen to the guy running the football program. There were no “ebb and flows” to that game. I saw 2 of you said you think Rangel might portal out. I hate it for depth but if we can get the Smith kid to sign I think a scholarship stable of Gunnar, Flores, and Smith is pretty solid. Flores and Smith look the part for sure and I still think Gunnar was the best QB during the non-con. I think another year of Bowman could be good for next season but bad for keeping any QB’s on campus. Not sure how I would go with that.
Also, I think the real key is keeping Gordon. Honest question. If the guy wins the Doak Walker award and we find him NIL money, why would he leave?

And what exactly made you think that? I watched him get sacked a lot against South Bama, and instead of throwing the ball away he lost yards. I’m not saying he can’t be good. I just think he has a ways to go. Rangel in my opinion has the better pocket presence of the three, and he doesn’t get easily flustered.
I don’t personally know the kid or what he’s thinking. Also, There’s going to be some blue bloods out there probably offering a lot more on NIL than what OSU could provide. He seems like the kind of kid that would stay, but stranger things have happened. If he does leave. I just hope to God he doesn’t pull a Traitor Ford.

He has the highest completion percentage, he added yards with his legs, he had no interceptions, and we moved the ball better when he was on the field. To Bowman’s credit, he has gotten better, but that guy still won’t step up in the pocket and at the beginning he was often too quick to throw it away. I also think Gunnar throws a better deep ball.
Obviously, the coaches see something different, but what I saw with my eyes and in the stats said that Gunnar out performed the others. Maybe he isn’t a strong leader though, who knows?

You most likely knew that after pretty much getting to the safety zone with four games left to UCF, Houston, Cincy, and BYU that we would get to that 7 win bench mark you like to brag about. September 16th was your last post before disappearing. It doesn’t take a genius to do basic research. Afterwards, you came back on October 14th to spread your hate and discontent for the people questioning Gundy, Dickey, and Dunn after a bad start to the season. Even though it was logical and reasonable for them to be upset based on the results that the fans are paying for.
If you’re going to claim to be a true fan then at least be consistent. If not, then the next time you disappear just make sure it’s for good.
I’m not trying to say the kid can’t be good, but even a 60 year old Jim Traber could throw for 70% against Central Arkansas and Arizona State. I agree his running capabilities are nice, but he still has a ways to go in being a complete QB.
