That’s a question for the players not for anyone here. Another option is to get rid of that target fixation you have on Dunn and actually watch the games and see what is really going on. If you did that then you’d have a pretty good idea of the real reasons why. Of course I’m talking to a wall here so there is that.

You consider 8-5 a good year for a BB? No wonder you get ecstatic if we go 7-6.
I do watch the games. I’ve noticed when Dunn is calling plays (specifically the last three games) we average 8 points in the first half with no motion, shifting, or check downs so to speak.
Did you not notice the three straight runs against a 5 man front on our first offensive possession against BYU? Apparently not.
While I’m watching the games (specifically the last three). We average 20 points in the second half, and we see motion, shifting, and checks downs.
Pay attention to what Gundy said in his last presser “During the 4th quarter. Time was getting crunched a bit and I kept telling Dunn on the mic we need to speed it up”. Why does a HC need to tell his four year OC to do that? That should be a given.
Gundy is literally telling you he has to fix the first half mess by a guy that’s been pretending to be an OC for four years.
So……who really needs to be paying attention to what’s going on here?
8-5 is good for any team including Texas. Anything below 8-5 is starting to exit the “good” category.
10-2 is considered a good year for a BB. You guys really need to empty your heads. It’s just like how to consider 7-5 a good year for Oklahoma State.
Sure everybody wants double digit wins, it’s not exclusive of BB’s. What makes 8-5 good is that very few HC’s will be fired over that record.

Texas is basically a 9 and 4 team overall so that is below average for them at 8 and 5. But yea thats a great year.

You’re right you dimwit!!! That’s the entire point I was making. Every time we get double digit wins now we make sure to follow it up with a 7-8 win season. Been happening since 2018 now.
