Dunn needs to be fired the morning after our final game. Gone.
He needs to be fired tonight but that won’t happen.

Defensive stops don’t matter much when your offense is this bad. This offense is so bad it actually makes the defense worse because the O can’t sustain drives.

Arkansas is our only P4 win, and it took them beating themselves for us just to get that W in OT. Worst coaching job in the Gundy era by far considering what they had returning.
Hire the UNLV OC and go find a solid G5 DC. Stop hiring WR coaches, as an OC, that don’t have any clue how to be creative, and stop hiring D2 guys who have no experience or clue in the D1 environment.
I don’t care if OU and Texas are gone. Gundy WILL NOT EVER win the conference unless he has another Todd Monken or Jim Knowles dragging him to Arlington. Even then, it’s still a long shot.

The offense is bad…but there are absolutely zero excuses for how poor the effort and tackling has become.
As a side note, surely we had the most penalties in this game than we’ve had all season? This game was next level bad.
I’m just worried Gundy is gonna fire the wrong guy. I really don’t think Gundy is the type of coach to fire both coordinators at once. And since I believe he’ll only fire one (at best) then it HAS TO BE DUNN.

Time to clean house of all coaches like they did in basketball. Especially if we go winless in the Big 12…and I could see a real possibility of that happening too.

Weiberg get some balls and do something drastic. This is a program totally headed in wrong direction. But I know Gundy will be in early again to figure this out……uhhhh

Let’s be honest; can the guy that hired these two, and continues to keep possibly the worst OC in the conference around after 4 dismal years really be trusted to make a decent replacement hire? His track record for that, especially recently, is not good.
Gundy needs to go.

Radio post game Gundy said Bowman played well. How many passes did he blow?
Plenty. Terrible play calling. QB draw on 3rd and 19 in first half. Bowman not good enough to complete passes to Shettron, so Dunn keeps calling for more to Shettron. Rashad Owens and Stribling again not targeted enough.
Absolutely have to replace multiple coaches, or else we will see more of the same for the near future. In spite of the above, I see 3 main reasons for this season. Number one, key injuries. Number 2, Nardo. Number 3, Dunn.
Power 4 team doesn’t know how to tackle? That’s like having a Big 12 basketball team that can’t dribble. Tackling is basic skill stuff. We make opposing QBs this season all look as good as Lamar Jackson.

Lining up for the snap is basic too, and the offense can’t do that. The red zone is kryptonite to this offense and it has been since Dunn got the job.
I’m not saying Nardo has done a good job, only that there are decent reasons you can point to why its bad this year.
This is Dunn’s fifth year and the offense is worse now than ever, and that’s with everyone coming back. No excuse at all for them this year. Can’t blame injuries, or being new, or any of that. It can only be Dunn’s fault.

The difference between this current team and the teams we endured in the 1960’s that I watched is the fact that this team has a good number of talented players. Can we say the same for the coaching?
I don’t know what to think about Gundy. I am sure NIL will result in his early retirement because this program has slid to the bottom. our only hope for next season is that we will have the advantage of not seeing Bowman.

At this point my only concern is that the defense (and Nardo-g) is so bad that Kasey Dunn will lay low enough to not be fired.
We need an overhaul, new energy, new life. And really it’s not an indictment of Gundy’s tenure. He has been the best coach we’ve ever had, but everything runs its course in due time.

This is my concern exactly.
Honestly the best thing for OSU is for Gundy to be honest with himself that he doesn’t want to coach D1 ball any more. We can all see it written all over his face in every single presser. He needs to retire.

You got some of what is wrong but I differ with the order. In any case we don’t have a say so I guess we will see what the powers that be deal with what is currently OSU football
