Isaac Likekele Leaving OSU, Enters Transfer Portal as Graduate Transfer

So, was it sarcasm? You’re going to have to fill on the gaps for me.

Without Cade’s brother, theres no Cade.

If Boynton can coach, OSU has a chance to win it next year. If we are not in the mix, then its time for Boynton to hit the road b/c he has currently a top 3 big 12 team next year. He could add some additional players to the roster as well. We have 3 open scholarships. 2 of them will definitely be filled.

Ice has been a model Cowboy and I wish him all the luck in the world to fulfill his life’s dreams. He will always be welcome back to Stillwater as one of the family. I could see Calvin Simpson snatching him up at Houston. He would flourish under that system and alongside those players.

We had the top player in the country and finished 5th. If we finish 3rd this year, I’d be psyched.

Who brought him in?

You are trying to argue for the sake of arguing and you look foolish, Boynton offered him as a freshman in HS. BEFORE anyone else even knew who he was.

Cade even said his brother was the deciding factor. So know your facts before you call someone foolish. Without hiring his brother, Cade was going to Kentucky

Cade’s brother…keep up

I never said it didn’t. Just saying it’s obvious that Ice was probably the worst shooter we had on the team with the C position possibly being the exception here. His free throw shooting was an absolute liability as well.

It’s like someone else mentioned. Nobody guards him on the perimeter. All that does is allow the defense to flood the lanes with an additional defender or two. Even if he drives the lane and gets fouled he’s a 50/50 liability at the free throw line. He’s also not much of a threat from the mid-range. I’ll agree his defensive capabilities are pretty good though.

This reminds me of the philosophy the Thunder tried for several years after KD and Harden left. Rely on defense to win you games when everyone else in the NBA was focused on scoring more points to win.

Show me were he said that?

His brother was the cherry on top. Now read what he said about Boynton and Oklahoma State. Bigger than, more than just his brother being on staff.

It’s funny how everyone miss understand you and you have to write a book to " just saying" lmao
It totally would have helped if the other guys could shoot they wouldn’t collapse on his drive.

As opposed to references that he was a ‘solid’ shooter! lol Ice was solid in body type and effort, but that is about it. I liked the guy a lot, but will be pleasantly surprised if he ever gets to sniff the NBA. A shorter point guard has to be able to make free throws at 90% and drain 3s, and that isn’t his strong point. Ice was invaluable to the Cowboys for the last 4 years… due to a lack of valuable assets. jmho… To be a full time starter elsewhere, Ice will need to move to a mid major. :upside_down_face:

GO POKES!!! :cowboy_hat_face: :basketball: :cowboy_hat_face:

I agree in spirit to the ‘2.0’… but Ice could draw iron on layups and free throws!!! lmao… Since Gottlieb could literally not shoot at all, he would look for the ‘assist’ from beneath the basket and no defender present within 3 feet!! I often wondered why teams didn’t just play ‘hack-a-doug’ on defense against us. He always had the ball… lol

Dude anyone with a brain knows he probably wasn’t coming here if we didn’t hire his brother. It was a great move by boynton. One of the few.

Adding you to the fool list. Have a nice day.

Go ahead and give yourself the 5 :star: and perfect 1.000 grade on foolishness rankings. One of cades comments on his commitment “at the end of the day bloods thicker than water” . Like I said it was a great move by boynton, he knew what he had to do to ultimately get him in Stillwater and he did it.
