I wish Ice nothing but the best! In my mind, there are certain guys that you really wish could have experienced the magic of a jam-packed GIA and multiple tourney runs. Ice will always be on my list. Along w/ Cade, Byron Eaton, Mitchell Solomon, James Anderson, LeBryan Nash, Marcus Smart….guys who gave the program and the university more than was really required or expected, but didn’t get to experience the team success that made Mr. Iba and later on Coach Eddie Sutton absolute legends.

Josh Pate also didn’t consider the fact that Miles was the first coach since Barry Sanders to get us to three straight bowl appearances.
Josh Pate also needs to realize KU has probably been the worst P5 program over the last decade as well.

Ice was Gotlieb 2.0…… except he didn’t average 10 assists a game. We will miss Ices defense but he was a liability on offense. I hope he does well wherever he goes though

Well, the lack of shooting applies to the whole team. Each player had a poor season. So I am sure that Ice did not take it personally. Boyton wanted Ice back for his defense and his assists. I wanted Ice gone so we could get someone who could score and play defense.
I’m just confused because there is absolutely no way OSU is winning the Big XII in basketball next year. I appreciate the optimism, but it’s not going to happen.
