@KetchupSicle I really don’t care for hypothetical stuff but having said that I could see having a no return policy if in my judgement that was what was best for the organization. In general though I would probably make the decision on a case by case basis. It would depend on a bunch of factors including that persons character, their perceived/expected contribution, etc. As far as “OLD school” being out of vogue? Well I’m not a subscriber of that, there is plenty of “Old School” still around. For an example Look no further than Bob Huggins interview after the WVU/OSU BB game. He had some very critical things to say about his players, lots of folks today would call it mean which is BS in my book. here is a link WVU's Bob Huggins, Tre Mitchell Talk About Loss to Oklahoma State | 1/2/2023 - YouTube.
No there’s still some old school floating around. It’s less & less, but it’s still some out there. Huggy Bear can get Western on kids in a hurry & I dig it.
I just wish OSU would have had a no return policy the first time Gundy went to interview with Tennessee.
Talk is different then actually quitting.

Well unless I missed something it’s radio silence from the OSU leadership today. Not happy with how the communication is working. I guess we the fans don’t deserve a second thought. They probably just expect us to just keep spending our money supporting this team, no questions asked, like good little girls and boys.
To set the record straight I’ve never liked Gundy interviewing with other schools as nothing but a money grab. Plain and simple. If Gundy isn’t letting Spencer come back for whatever reason, it’s the same deal, especially since we need a QB with experience. It’s apples to apples
Gundy wanted more money, Sanders wanted to see what was available
