As one that was there at the beginning of the game on Saturday and came back for the rest of the game, I am tired of trusting in Gundy… If we are to put our trust in a single person I guess it’s time to put it in Weiberg. With this comment Gundy lost all goodwill from the previous years. Very tone deaf and am willing to move onto a coach that is willing to take ownership in the play we have seem on the field. I am not mad, I am disgusted.

This guy is an absolute joke. His team can’t win a conference game, but if anyone is unhappy about it, it’s because they’re losers who can’t pay their own bills or take care of their families. Gundy has overstayed his welcome. Not only does his program stink, but he doesn’t care. The icing on the cake is that he thinks the fans and boosters who have supported this program for years, who are responsible for him being a multimillionaire, are deadbeats because they’re complaining. OSU football can’t survive any more years of Gundy. Time for him to go.

He is so out of touch with the reality of those “negative” people. They are paying their bills, they are accountable to their jobs and their families. He on the other hand has no money worries, no problems putting food on the table. Shame on him.

I get it, there are some of you who just HATE Gundy. But this whole, “the program stinks and he’s an idiot and we’re mediocre” nonsense is not very well thought out and reactionary. If you hate Gundy, just say so. If you think he needs to go, say that. But don’t be so silly as to say we’re a bad program. That’s a terrible argument.

I have supported this man since day one and have had his back from the Hubbard ordeal to bad seasons, but this went way too far. How dare anyone in his position to make a statement like that? If he were fired tomorrow for this statement, I wouldn’t be opposed. If he came out and immediately apologized, then I could understand frustration getting the best of him (we’ve all been there). Either way, something needs to happen.

Gundy’s team is in last place in the conference, probably won’t win a conference game, the defense is next to last in the country, and the offense isn’t much better–if that’s not stinking, then what is? College athletics is a what-have-you-done-for-me -lately business. Winning one conference title a dozen years ago doesn’t get you cover forever.

As a Gundy apologist, I really wanted to come here and say we should take it with a grain of salt and focus on the bottom two quote paragraphs that are getting cut from the audio clips. Well, I can’t do that this time… This is messed up.
Well, Mike… if you are so aware of what is going on, please explain it to the rest of us. A lot of people bought into you and trusted you – but you’ve done nothing but let us down and leave us in the dark. Rather than criticizing the talking heads you hate so much, get back to work and give us a reason to why we should buy in and trust you again.
