Here’s a suggestion…don’t watch. Just quietly go away…
Everyone needs to realize no matter what their feelings are towards Gundy. HE DOES NOT CONTROL THE MONEY. Knowles is an east coast guy that has an opportunity to head closer to home at one of the most storied programs of all time. This is no ones fault.‘it’s life. Apparently some of y’all had a round silver spoon down yalls throat growing up
Oklahoma St’s athletic budget is about $93m
Ohio St’s is $233m. The Buckeyes and the Longhorns usually have the highest budgets in the country. There is no real way to compete financially with schools that have this kind of money.
Then you don’t understand Title IX.
Title 9 doesn’t require a brand new stadium.
Who brought Knowles here Einstein?
Poor o’l osu. Still a stepping stone for everyboy right? Coaches move all the time and fast. That’s why I thought this year sucked more than any other year that I have witnessed. Had the 2nd best defense and couldn’t muster up any creativity on offense. If sanders is as bad as he looks then that’s bad recruiting on gundy’s part. If there’s a lot of penalties during a game then that’s on gundy. If there hasn’t been 1 warm body on the offensive line in 11 years then that’s on gundy. If the quarterback is throwing record interceptions and still playing then that’s on gundy. If sanders is quarterbacking next year then that’s on gundy. If Dunn is still the offensive coordinator next year then that’s on gundy This guy is good enough to out couch most of the middle of the pack coaches but he will never be able to get out of his own way to get to the next level. Clean house and get back to wearing nothing but the osu logo and market one brand and find us some knew blood that’s hungrey. Let’s go for another gundy ride but higher!!
I think you missed understood. Have you gone to School at OSU before?
Title 9 requires the same opportunity for women as men. Our colleges are supposed to be about equality not semi pro leagues. The system isn’t fair when Ohio St has 233 million and we only have 93 million. It never will be.
What does equality have to do with semi pro league? Just asking
I agree with the logo take, this orange outlined in white thing looks like a softball logo, bring back the logo from the 1980’s and rock that thing
And not to get off the subject but how can you reach equality if every living organism is different in this world? Sounds to me that people try to chase perfect but there’s no such thing so they go in circles for eternity. People are funny mammals.
The all white with the orange logo! Home and all black with the orange logo away!!! No?
I could get behind that
They have the opportunity to play college sports with a full ride scholarship. I’m pretty sure they don’t need a brand new stadium to qualify for that.
Title IX states that among many other items that women have to have the same opportunities as men at colleges and universities. The schools have to give an equal amount of scholarships to women as they do men. As well, Most schools distribute dollars to the different sports so that all sports can the same level of facilities. Obviously a football stadium costs a lot more than volleyball program. When OSU builds athletic dorms, all athletes have the opportunity to use them. When OSU built their $8m restaurant/training table all OSU athletes have access to it. Is it perfect no, but OSU is never going to change that part of their administration policy.
There is no point debating it with me. Go debate Weiberg, Shrum and the Board of Regents.
Wonder if any softball stadiums are nas nice as any baseball stadiums in America?
All I can tell you, is if you don’t want to hear or or read about it, then turn off your radio and take your a55 somewhere else.
Stillwater News Press is reporting that they were negotiating with Knowles all year but only offered 1.3 million. Ohio State offered 2 million.
They also mentioned that Ohio State’s athletic department’s budget is $233 million and OSU’s is $93 million.
BUT if you want to play with the big dogs, bring in Ohio State kind of money and not have your coaches stolen from under you, you have to pay what the big dogs pay. So, bottom line, new AD and new President aren’t really serious about big-time football.
