Oklahoma Legislators Rip OU for Leaving OSU Behind in SEC Move

No u coming on here asking to same question over and over is called idiotic. That’s why I answer u differently. It boils down we would have never done alot of things ou has done. Thats why u guys are called goons. U never answered me about the multiple assaults our football manager took at the hands of ur fans. I’m sure the president was to busy making the sec deal to solve a minor case of goons gone wild.

Please don’t put words in my mouth. NO OSU wouldn’t join the SEC in the manner that OU did it and likely not under most scenarios, could there be a scenario where OSU would go? Probably yes but that’s all hypothetical. The facts are OU did and OSU did not. And yes OU didn’t try to bring OSU along imo.

“No OSU wouldn’t join the SEC in the manner in which OU did and likely not under most scenarios?”

Youre right. That’s nothing more than conjecture on your part and mine. You say OSU would likely not join under most scenarios the most lucrative, most visible, most competitive, most talented, deepest, most tradition rich Conf in college football. I say they would if they were given the opportunity. Just like Missouri did. Just like A&M did. Just like OU & Texas have. There’s a reason why Nebraska & Colorado bolted this Conf. It’s the same reason why OSU is burning up the phone lines trying to get out too. For you to think that OSU “likely” wouldn’t leave for the SEC is ignorant.

So I’m going to again ask you a question based on a hypothetical scenario. Hypothetically speaking, OU asked the SEC people about bringing OSU into the Conf as well. The SEC said no. It’s OU, Texas & that’s it. No one else. Hypothetically, under that scenario, you Bruce4 are the President @OU. Do you stay in the Big 12 without Texas? Or do you go to the SEC without OSU?

We know the ou president didn’t care about assault on a osu student on live TV. So he feels ok to rape the whole osu system. So we know he we never say no to sec.

So allowing assault……gives you acceptance into the SEC? Got it :joy::joy::joy::joy:

Thats a good point never thought about that being a proving point. See even ur a goon u think it’s funny how u guys beat up r manager.

OU, through Texas and ESPN, actively solicited the SEC for an invitation. That’s what they shouldn’t have done. Accept the invite, sure.

But don’t secretly lay the groundwork to make it happen while all the while confiding in your would-be peers in the Big XII and partaking in the strategy sessions your current conference held.

He doesn’t understand. He think it’s OK to beat people up on live TV. And he thinks that’s how u do business

“OU, through Texas and ESPN, actively solicited the SEC for an invitation”. Conjecture. Neither you nor I know that. I personally think Texas was the one who initiated this move. I think the SEC said “get OU as well and we’ll talk”. OU was smart enough to know that it needs Texas far more than Texas needs OU. OU also knew that without Texas, the Big 12 would be nothing worth staying in. So they knew they had to leave. They made overtures into bringing OSU along as well. SEC declined. OU was stuck with staying in the Big 12 without Texas or going to the SEC without OSU. All conjecture on my part too.

Good discussion here. You saw/heard how A&M initially took the news. You saw/heard how Dr Shrum took the news. The tweets. The A&M Athletic Dir speaking in somewhat negative tones about having to share the state of Texas with the addition of UT & OU. Which I get all of those reactions. This is no criticism of any of those. However, seeing how they reacted……would you remotely be willing to think that those reactions are precisely why both OU & UT chose the route of extreme secrecy? In a perfect world, those two exiting schools are complete transparent from the jump. In a perfect world, the remaining 8 schools from the Big 12 say nothing and facilitate the move. But……that’s not reality. That’s not how those moves are made. I just don’t see how the OSU people can’t see why it had to be done the way that it was. I get the frustration at the move and the fear over what may lay ahead for the Cowboy program. But the continual insinuation by some of you that OSU would not have done the exact same thing……is my issue.

It’s funny u r more worried about those those but not ur fellow fans beat up a person on live TV. And why u made a joke about it. I think if thats how u feel u can leave this site.
It’s not like ur adding anything

I hate to break this to you, but I can GUARANTEE you that if 1 person on here is interested in my opinion…….that’s 1 more than who are interested in the nonsense you post on here.

Once again u ignore the joke u made about the assault.
If only u were rite. I think I have had more likes in the last hour, day or since u have been on here.

Please, please someone pull the transcript from OSU fan Carson Cunningham just now. I’ll paraphrase

OU DID THIS EXACTLY THE WAY THEY HAD TO DO IT. I HATE IT FOR OSU. BUT YOU CANT TELL OSU BEFOREHAND BECAUSE OF THE POSSIBILITY OF LEAKS. OSU ISNT GOING TO HELP OU LEAVE THIS CONF.

He also said that HE BELIEVES OU TRIED TO GET OSU INTO THE SEC. Hopefully that news gets posted on this site……so it’s not just that I’m an idiot OU fan.

“He believes” is that so new fangled law term.
Since ou and Texas went to the sec. Here how it played out. Ou meet with sec then left. On the flight home the ou president is think he forgot something. Then, Eureka he says " I forgot to ask about osu. Oh well they will make the next cut."

We’re not say ur an idiot because u want to believe this stuff. Or that ou did wrong chasing money. Ur just an idiot.

Yea no more hypothetical scenarios, it’s a waste of time because they didn’t happen. Let’s stick to facts i.e. UT and UT-N F’ed the rest of the conference and didn’t give it a second thought.

That’s not a fact. You and I don’t know if OU tried or not. But, PistolsFiring contributor Carson Cunningham agrees with me. So :kissing_heart::kissing_heart:

That’s Carson’s opinion and it is not necessarily correct. I just listened to a Mack Rhoades, AD at Baylor, and his view point is opposite that of Carson. Mack was pretty candid in the interview, albeit while staying civil, and confirmed UT and UT-N are donkey behinds for doing what they did in the way that they did it. I’ll post the full YT interview here once it is available.

When a guy say he believe it to be true, is not a fact.
Are u that thick. So why no more joke about r manager
