Wouldn’t he have gotten good playing time next year? Not sure why he’d leave unless he’s getting a big bag and I don’t know why anyone would give him a big bag.

There definitely is “tampering” going on. Its always been that way. A kids parent or relative gets a call. They get some numbers thrown at them. Then they leave to grab a bag. Do I blame them? Not really. Its the way the system is set up. Everyone on here would say they wouldnt do it that way, but if your son had a chance to transfer to a school that he felt was closer to home, a better fit for him, and then gave you a hundred grand too…why wouldnt you? Hate the system. Not the player. Hes from TX. When a good DB portals from the state of Texas, you have to think the destination will be one of the NIL darlings (Colorado/A&M/Ole Miss/Oregon) or a local fit in TCU/Baylor.

I gave an honest answer. That alone would make me an unusual ou fan. I said he should be getting big 6 figure nil. It would be for playing time.
You pulled this last year. Who did we lose last year helped themselves. Mohammed helped playing in the title game. Henry mite but he was a nickel back. Stats werent as good. None even cobb and sanders helped them. They dropped. Cobb has a year to rebound if he relearns to tackle. Sanders is on the cfl. He would have been drafted if at osu with another 10 win season.
This kid is a nice kid going to his 3rd year.

Who would tamper for this dude though? It’s not like he’s a proven star. He very well could be but I just don’t see why anyone would throw a big enough bag for him to leave OSU. Someone like Nick Martin I would understand.
