If he’s winning in he Big 12 and getting conference titles then yes. You seem to be forgetting Fickell is in the CFP while Gundy isn’t.
Fickell is going to be in a P5 conference snd if he’s winning he’ll get those recruits (Same with Aranda). Just like how Gundy couldn’t take advantage of Texas being down for more than a decade. He’ll probably screw up in the new conference as well.

Baylor has three conference titles since 2011 (Gundy has 0)
Baylor has played in more 3 NY6 bowls since then while OSU has played in 1.
About the only thing Gundy has on Baylor is he hasn’t had two losing seasons since that time frame. That’s it!!! When it comes to championship hardware and big time bowl games it’s not really close.
Ok we get it, Gundy is bad and that is the only problem with OSU football, players have nothing to do with it cuz all teams have players. On top of that our 11-2 team sucks because of again coaching, and you have the stats to prove it. I mean our 10 year record against Baylor says it all. Hell based on that info we could have won last Saturdays game and you would still be right. You my friend are one of the best trolls that I have ever encountered.
I’ve been to OSU a hundred times over the last 8 years but I’ve missed all the trophies that Gundy has brought to the University. What does the trophy for a winning season look like? I’ve seen Baylor’s Conference Championship trophies and the Heisman trophy but we should be displaying all of Gundy’s trophies where someone could see them.
Too bad there isn’t a trophy for the regular season conf champ. I guess it means nothing if there isn’t a trophy.
Kids aren’t going to be impressed when they walk onto a campus and see an empty trophy case.
Gundy was asked about Baylor and recruiting Texas.
“Well they only have to go four hours either way to get the recruits. There are a lot of good recruits in that area. I’ve been down there several times. I’ve seen it.”
Well you want to know what will lure more recruits towards Oklahoma State? It isn’t giving them a tour of your empty trophy case.
When you can make the argument to a recruit that they can win something meaningful at your university. A trophy case that’s filled with something meaningful helps solidify your case.
If Gundy ever took note of this, he might not have to try so hard at trying to develop three star recruits for 2-3 years before they are ready to step on the field.
I guess until Gundy is gone. We can continue to wear out our 2011 conference champs shirts.
