Oklahoma State's Loss to Iowa State a Further Indictment on Constant Personnel Switching

Gundy’s recruiting will only get worst from here when ou and Texas leaves. There’s really no hope left here and that’s the truth.

I would back away from our O-Line too.

Don’t worry guys. @robert28 says we will still win 10 games. Honestly, I think he is Gundy in disguise. He is just as clueless.

I don’t think Gundy is nearly that dumb to be honest.

At this point, I am not so sure.

I would give Rangel a chance also, but I’m telling you that he’s not very good. None of the 3 are very good. Now, you’re problem is that you’re going to trust Pat Jones. Lol.

LMAO, our O-line has been BELOW AVERAGE since Joe Wickline left. What RB has gotten near 1,000 yards rushing since then? What QB has had enough time to throw most of the time, i.e. more than 50%? We have been blessed w/ mobile QBs of late (Cornbread and SSanders). Even w/ Rudy the O-line wasn’t what I would call “good”.

Gheez tea you need to put the bong down … you have been so busy sniffing Wickline farts you missed Hill , Hubbard , Warren !?!? Have you had a stroke ?

“Not as well as they would have at OState” Have you seen this offense? Have you seen this Oline? This is a team that’s in danger of not making a bowl game………& you think that’s something they are wishing they’d stuck around for? Baylor is bad. But I think I’d take my chances at TCU, Ohio St, ND, USC and Ole Miss before I would OSU this year

I wonder what Spencer Sanders would choose, riding the bench at Ole Miss or Starting at OSU this year. Also everyone choosing to leave makes things a self fulfilling prophecy. Players leaving damage their old team so of course the new team has the potential of being the better choice.

The portal recruiting is going to be critical. He will need to focus on making OSU a destination for more than NIL - playing time, NFL opportunities etc… OSU needs to adapt their culture quickly.

All those guys were in Stillwater last year…….& went 7-6. So to assume this team would be better……is a stretch. I agree right now on Sanders. I’d rather be playing on a bad team than sitting on a good one. So as of right now, I will absolutely give you that. But those other guys absolutely made the right decision. This Cowboy ship is sinking & I don’t see any sign whatsoever that it’s getting better anytime real soon. Gundy is going to continue to handle recruiting/portal/NIL as he has……which is poorly. Your starting QB next year will be Gunnar Gundy. He’s a decent player. But he’s not the answer

I think OSU would be better this year if the mass exodus didn’t take place so not a stretch. Also Gunnar is not a shoe in next year. Assuming he is better than Rangel there is still a new redshirt freshman in the wings and the portal is always an option.

We would be most likely be 4-0 with a healthy Spencer Sanders on the roster. Maybe 3-1 since we have shitty luck in Ames. Would we be a great team? Probably not but we wouldn’t be near this bad.

Ketchup all the players you are talking about from last year , except JP and Muhammad aren’t starters. It’s a push on JP and Muhammad . Getting the ball to Presley is a problem. All the others that left aren’t starters and playing time isn’t there. They all have bad numbers. The QB is the most important player on the field, you know that. For Sanders to turn down what he was offered was a dumb move, although his attitude stunk. Unless Dart get injured, he will ride the pine unless it’s mop up time

I watched it, Cody has some good stuff sometimes and inside info. I don’t always drink the same Kool Aid he does and agree him but he’s alright. I like to watch his show.

It wasn’t all Sanders turning it down. He’s a kid that wanted to see what the portal was like. Gundy shut the door on him. We could of had him back this season. Per Berry Tramel Sanders missed some bowl practice and wanted to I play in the bowl game and Gundy said no and shut the door on him figuratively speaking. Unless you heard something different but I really trust Berry.

Sanders wanted to test the water sure but he found out his value wasn’t what he thought it would be. ( my opinion) so he comes back after bowl workouts and wants back on. What I heard is he could come back but he wasn’t starting …. He didn’t like it so they parted ways. Again that’s what I heard multiple times. You did see the attitude he had developed from the year before ? Maybe it’s just me. Also heard from very reliable sources was he got in a fight with JP also Cobb Cobb over Sanders and a few others that managed to sneak out night before bedlam and got hammered. His play reflected that. My story is about the same as yours except added info
Berry doesn’t know a lot of inside info

As tough as it is, the program is bigger than a 5th year Quarterback. If Dunn/Gundy had let Spencer waltz back into the locker room with no consequences, how would there ever be team discipline again?

If Spencer did get hammered night before Bedlam, I would have preferred Gundy to publicly announce that Spencer was not eligible for the WVU or bowl games due to a team code of conduct violation. Spencer would then be left to either explain what happened or take his toys somewhere else.

Instead, many fans and of course the shite media spun stories about how Gundy ran him off. Disgusting.

Spot on @michael13
I would add that Thomas Harper is doing well at ND and Dom Richardson also doing ok at Baylor. But it’s hard to argue that any of the out transfers are doing significantly better this season than they would have at Oklahoma State, and most are doing significantly worse.

This is not unique to Oklahoma State transfers in or out.
