We know what we got, a head coach who recruits in the middle of the conference and averages 4th in the conference with 1 championship in 17 seasons and counting.

He is ranked higher then his brother. Kam is going to be a back up this year.

Yes. Thats the point exactly. Ill be fine if he comes in and just get 1000 yards per year. If he is closer to blackmon that would be great. Better then blackmon awesome.

Gundy’s had some good recruits. The question is, why can’t he win a second conference title or win against OU at the level others in the conference, is it recruiting or coaching?

I think last your showed you exactly what it was.
We beat baylor at home. Baylor had their top lb out.
We had a couple of recievers and was Martin out that game.
Second game baylor had the qb out. They run a west coast offense, nothing a good good back can run. Will not score alot. We had center, tight end, and rb out.
So its pretty evident that players on the field do matter.
Neither teams are deep the more you lose the harder it is to win.

Got outcoached in far too many instances IMO. I think we’ve had better teams and lost to zerOU at least a couple of times. Not as good of recruits but often 3 stars outwork 4s and 5s, which is why we’ve pretty much PWNED discoTEX the last 10 seasons. Wait till them fatties start getting paid large…they’ll get even lazier in Austin. Hopefully abNorman too!
