I’m very cerebral. I know ur one track mind cant comprehend all the elements involved.
I actually never said saban coached the one game.
No matter what it was a jab. I know u guys can make a resume on one game. Just like miles is great because he broke even in 4 yrs. Which is 4 games.
This is not to defend Joe cause he doesn’t need my help. It’s not meant to bash Gundy either. Just my 2 cents, Robert. Those particular 4 games matter SO much to alumni and the fan base. Look, I hate the way in which Miles left. Not to mention the bad apples that Gundy needed to give the boot to. But the objective reality is that Miles injected some badly needed confidence into the program during his short time as HC. He made us BELIEVE we could play with and beat OU as well as A n M, and Nebraska. At the time, we NEEDED that. Desperately! Do you realize that until 2002, the Pokes hadn’t beaten the Huskers in 41 years?! That confidence allowed Gundy to go in just a few short years later, and SMOKE Nebraska 45-14 in Lincoln. I know Miles ran his mouth at times . “Let ‘Er Rip!” before the Sooners crushed us 52-9 in 2003 in Norman. But overall, it’s hard to downplay his impact on the program. Knowles seems to be installing some swag on defense. Just wish someone could come along and re-install it for the offense.
I do understand what ur saying. There was a point in those times alot of teams broke long losing streaks not just us. Buy making miles out to be this ou killer is not reality. I have didnt like how miles left and didnt think he left us as well as he came.
U guys go on about the offense we threw for 4000 yards in 2018 top ten passing attack.
Travis what has changed same Gundy offense great recievers poor line. Oh Sanders qb. U want Gundy to open up the offense then pray one of the QB steps up.
U r defending joe and he needs all the help he can get. When he looks at any head coach and say how much the would help.
What we need is a qb that can run r offense
Suit yourself BB don’t schedule any tougher than the they have to… get a clue. Are you and @joe15 brothers, cousins, or just share a line
kinda strange
There one in the same. Joe need some one to like his rants so he made ar0
Because Wisconsin had to schedule Alabama and OU had to schedule tOSU. You don’t have to stay stupid, look it up and educate yourself.
Just like usual u pick one team one year to try and prove ur point. Does Wisconsin play a non con like that ever year joe
The name is not Joe, Bob, it’s A.R. which stands for "always right ".
The answer to your question : “Does Wisconsin play a non con like that ever year joe” is no. The next year instead of (3) Alabama they played (5)LSU.
Do they do a BB every year ?? No maybe a home and home every 15 years… what about the other 2 , I’m guessing they were BB too you make it too easy. You act like they play one every year…,Joe and you take a highlight or two game like the bioch is played regularly
Always right !!! Had to reread that Make sure I read it right. Yea you’re a goon troll… …not that hard to see…, Riley is your man. you just hope he doesn’t go to the Eagles:roll_eyes:
If you could track all the elements in football you would realize we need a new coach.
He’s beaten OU just as many times in a 4 year time frame as Gundy has in 16 years.
There is a huge difference when it comes to Miles vs OU and Gundy vs OU:
-
Miles wasn’t scared to death of Crimson and Cream Jerseys and Coaches.
-
Miles wasn’t afraid to take chances and try to win the game. He didn’t punt from the 39 yard line.
-
OU fans and coaches were more scared of Les Miles than they ever were of Gundy. All the people I know that are OU fans will tell you this.
-
Miles motivated his players for this game and motivated himself. Gundy treats it as “Just Another Game”.
-
Miles recruited some of the players needed to help win those kinds of games where as most years Gundy does not.
-
If Luke Phillips knows how to make a FG then Les Miles is 3-1 against OU. Gundy has to have the other coach recount to him to get to 2-14 against OU.
You don’t get it, do you? You can’t get better hiding from competition. You don’t need to play 2 top 5 teams in 6 years like Wisconsin or 4 top 20 teams in 6 years like Stanford but sometime in 7 years you need to play someone.
If ur such a miles fan I’m sure ku can have u on board ar0
All I know is that even if Miles stays at KU for 12 more seasons (in which he would be 78 years old) and he loses to OU every season he’ll still have just as many wins against OU that Gundy will.
Joe matt miss a extra point so dnt go there. I’m still at a lose on miles recruiting is it Simmons that u mean.
A good coach is a good coach same as recruiter. Miles has not shown that at ku. He is 30 minutes from a large metro area. We can sit here and debate apples and oranges. If miles does anything at ku I will say ur rite joe. When osu has it’s own recruiting ground like the whole state of Wisconsin then we can play who ever u want ar0
Joe u don’t have to worry about that miles will be gone in 2 yrs
Joe miles is gone not coming back u need to get over it.
Gundy is here and staying u need to get that.
When u talk about things in r reality and use logic then come back and talk.
I want to beat ou but ur logic of every coach is better then Gundy is worthless. And u only fact if 2 and 12 has out played its self.
Joe do you remember the days when we had a coach that could bring some State pride to the University? Back when they didn’t start off the season Reading about how OSU is the most overrated team in the conference.
Most overrated team
Oklahoma State: I’ve heard from many people this offseason – mostly my Cover 3 Podcast co-host Barton Simmons – about how Oklahoma State is a dark horse to win the Big 12. I understand the reasons why, as they’re repeated over and over. The Cowboys have a great running back in Chuba Hubbard and an exciting QB-WR combo of Spencer Sanders and Tylan Wallace. But is that really enough? I ask because that trio was healthy for Oklahoma State’s first eight games of the season last year, and it went 5-3 in that stretch. I think there’s a clear gap between the Cowboys and the conference’s two best teams in Oklahoma and Texas, and I’m not buying into the belief that this team can compete for the Big 12 in 2020. – Tom Fornelli (also Chip Patterson, Ben Kercheval, David Cobb)
