OSU's Receiver Depth, Experience Should Be a Strength in 2022

One championship is also only one championship. 17 years is also only 17 years.

Crying. You are a big Roy fan, you sing his song hour by hour.

But you whined and cried for 3 years that Gundy would never make a championship game again didn’t you? Just make a conference championship game was heard ad nauseam ? Right ? Now you and Jug and Jeff all want more, you three just cry everyday. Do you 3 , are you drinking buddies ? Fictitious chit !!

Teatown has summed it up just fine, he covered the main points about what Dunn needs to do to make Sanders and the team better. I wish Dunn would paste that list on his desk.

The only people drinking are you and Roberto. You guys believe a guy that’s 1-4 in conference title games over 17 years will win another one.

Well there is a reason you call a number 1 reciever #1.

I real confused about what you guys call slants and over the middle. Does the pass have to be caught in the middle of the field only to be over the middle pass?
Of course I get confused when Joey says we ran up the middle on ever play, sometimes more times then we actually rushed.

I know the three stooges will say we dnt run the up tempo is because gundy doesn’t want to.

If we come into this year with not to many injuries we will be playing up tempo. And sling it around.

There is alot of reason why we dnt do those things mainly young players and Sanders

Lmfao!!! Okay!!! We’ll be handing it off to Richardson between the tackle and guard, and trying to keep Sanders in the pocket just hoping we don’t lose.

Well I know you love that kind of play but you will get over it

Gundy had 1.5 games this past season where he actually played uptempo (and I gave him credit for it). Those games were OU (the full game) and ND (the second half).

Sanders is not a pocket passer. They need to stop acting like that’s what he is. He was never that way in High School and (for the most part) he’s never been that way in the four years he’s been on campus. He’s a Zac Robinson type of QB. You have to design more running plays for him in an uptempo offense without having the fear of him suffering an injury.

You can see on Gundy’s face he doesn’t like it when Sander’s takes off. Watch his interviews with the media “Well Spencer is going to try and get the first down”. I watched both the Baylor and ND games. Look at the difference in the offense when you use pocket passing Sanders vs uptempo Sanders. It’s practically night and day. Also, btw, we scored one of our touchdowns in Bedlam while designing a run for Sanders.

We should be way past this experimentation phase on offense with Sanders taking the snaps. That’s the problem with Gundy and Dunn trying to create an offensive game plan. It’s not consistent. Last season it was pretty much like this (Fix the things that aren’t broken, and continue to break the things that need fixed).

If only you knew what your talking about.
I know you think Sanders is the whole team. I here to explain to you there our 10 other players that plays have to work off off.

Again wrong but keep trying if you must.

You’re right. Like the offensive line. Why do you think I said (Fix the things that aren’t broken, and continue to break the things that need to be fixed)?

Yea rite u were just talking about gundy and dunn breaking things.

This is still a young team with only one guy we have to lose.

Everyone likes to say “12 wins!!!”. That’s fine I suppose. I think a lot of people are also forgetting we had the best defense in the Gundy era last season in order for that to happen. The defense wasn’t the last unit on the field in our only two losses. If Gundy wants Sanders to be a pocket passer then he better have Dickey making the OL practicing pass protection until they puke.

Joy this is an example of what I’m talking about, your just responding to responded.

This article is about receivers. You keep going on about the line. Saying things we have already gone over. The pass blocking was better then any in the league.

Remember I said young. Not losing any this year, only one next. And for the last 4 games we have 4 guys returning starting. Which had to be are tuffest games, 3 were against top 10 teams. So it’s not as dire as you make out.

The recievers tho, have 4 upperclassmen with only 1 catching alot of passes. We need the to mature grow and do.

So I guess Gundy had no hand at all in that defense? He’s only a head coach for the offense?

Yes, gundy didn’t just like the last 12 win season. That was the oc. Gundy is only responsible for 7 win season.
Which is every year, since we only win 7 games every year.

“Coach Knowles understands concepts, schemes, and he has been able to adapt. He’s changed concepts and schemes based on our personnel and the teams we play. He’s done a great job.”

Gundy hired him. I doubt he coaches for him. Remember when Gundy said “I don’t know what he does. He closes his door and I see him maybe 4-5 hours later. He could be in there watching cartoons for all I know.”

Thats how good ceo is.
Gundybwas a all big 8 qb and has coached for 25 years, ur an idiot if you think he doesn’t know what’s going on.
Since after the 2018 season he went to Knowles and told him what changes he want and Knowles did it.

Yet again nothing to do with this article. Just Joy typing to type

He knows what he’s doing? Then why didn’t he beat Baylor for the Big 12 title.
