Let’s try this again.

I’m going with 5-7. As for the Big 12 title game, I’m pulling for Kansas State or Iowa State at this point.

Based on our remaining schedule. If Gundy and his staff don’t drastically change anything at all then we’re probably pulling a 4-8 or 5-7. To be quite honest, I don’t blame the team for quitting on this staff.

At some point I would expect Ollie Gordon to shut down his season to avoid getting injured. One more loss will probably do it. Can’t blame him either.

I just don’t see them capable of winning 3 more games. Rangel would have to turn into a super star for this team to win. It would also require the defense to suddenly play well. I don’t like the odds of both of those things happening. There will be no Zane Flores as the Savior. He is injured. Next season could be just as bad. We will lack a great running back. Have inexperienced O line. Top receivers gone. Nardo probably gets one more year before Gundy accepts the reality about him. Early retirement for Gundy if his teams have multiple years at the bottom of the conference? Not really fair for Rangel to have to prove himself when there is no running game and team is forced to play air raid most of the time. Our receivers have recently been covered like a blanket. Get good sleep and watch BYU game via replay next day. Since ASU beat Utah, I see probably we get just one victory going forward, two at the very most.

These PFB staff writers are eternal optomists, aren’t they? :sob: I don’t see 3 or 4 more wins.

4-8

L BYU
L Baylor
L Arizona State
L TCU TCU
L Texas Tech
W Colorado - Flores starts and shows he should’ve been QB1 all along!

Or we “upset” a lousy Baylor team at home in Waco and lose to mighty Colorado in Granolaheadville to make us…4-8. And Gumby gets his annual 1.5 million retaining bonus along w/ the 7 million bean$ for that.

I saw this in a FB sports group I’m in. How can Kansas be #2 when we have 20 returning starters back and many had us ranked higher than #15 before the season started? We might even should be #1 on that list!!!

No way this team wins three more. Maybe Baylor, maybe TCU. 5 -7 best case. BYU’s defense is going to suffocate us, ASU’s Skattebo is going to run over, around and through us, TT’s and CU’s offenses will leave us in the dust–no way we keep up. Nice coaching job Gundy & Co.

Is there a different team going to show up on Saturday? Could be. I thought we had a potential top 10 team. We have been awful up to this point. Do we have players or not? Let’s go Pokes. It’s never to late to start a win streak.

This year is certainly different, but I’ll say Gundy does enough to keep his bowl streak alive. Not good enough but we will see

They need to play for next year. Bowman, no snaps in practice. Please.

(EDIT: shouldn’t be) surprised it isn’t on PFB yet, but Cody with Locked on Oklahoma State reported that Dickey is out, somehow Dunn is not (for now) and Bowman is out as QB1 completely off the depth chart and acting as a coaching assistant. Rangel is the projected starter for the BYU game.

Except never mind, that’s all baseless rumors that preys on my hope that maybe I’ll see something change. Change at OSU is glacial.

Becuase thats ludicrous. Rangel starting is one thing. Thats not hard to fathom. But, You dont take a guy “completely off the depth chart”. Dont believe everything you see on the innernets

Time will tell, it’s not my intel.

Cody says a lot of things that just don’t make sense to me but most are unverifiable so it’s hard to tell if he really has sources with the true facts. However this time we will be able to fact check him. The stuff he says regarding the line coaches and QB is sort of plausible but it is hard to really believe. Given the huge scope of changes that he claims I find it hard to believe that he is the only one in this world able to scoop that story. I guess time will tell if he is correct or not.

3-9. This team aint winning again, and it will be the offenses fault.

We’ve had bad defenses at OSU for most of Gundy’s tenure but we could at least win a shootout. Not this team, not this staff.

Yeah, I have to admit that I want it to be true but am also skeptical. Something’s got to give. Recency bias maybe but this is more frustrating than the Southern Alabama loss given the level of investment from the donor base and the orange koolaid so many of us were drinking with CFP aspirations.

For sure it’s 1000 times more frustrating, bad, worse, terrible, etc. For a lot of reasons. One being this season given all the talent coming back from a previously relatively successful season should have been one of those rare seasons where the sky is truly the limit for OSU. Instead we fall off a cliff journey to the center of the earth style and have the worse start and possible season since Gundy started coaching. Now add to that looking forward what is gong to happen next year when everyone experienced is gone and all we have is a bunch of newbies? Yea I think it is probably black pill time and we may be entering another dark ages period for OSU football depending on how things play out. Hope I’m wrong though go pokes!

Will Flores loss a year of eligibility if he does not play this year since he already redshirted?
