The MIL over in Hinton had one born in a blizzard a couple years ago. Got one ear frost bit. The struggle is real.

Yeah, we aim for late February/early March as well for spring calving but our bull had a one night stand with a heifer that crossed pastures for a little rendezvous :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

It was wild here around 6pm. Thankfully, both cars were in the garage and under the carport. No broken windows on the house either.

Go ahead and call your insurance so that you can get on the list for an adjuster to have a look.

After our fall hail event, it took about 3 weeks to have someone come out.
