After Sanders, Nathan Simmons is the greatest OSU back ever. Hands down. Also, his dad was the coach.
David Thompson was very good, though.

David Thompson, Gerald Hudson, and Ernest Anderson. Three of OSU’s most underrated running backs.
Those are some guys who played runningbacj during the Simmons era. And maybe the end of the Jones era. There’s a reason you don’t know them. Their teams were awful. I would’ve been around 10-14 years old watching at the time.
Kendall Hunter, baby!
Gundy as HC-Kendall Hunter. Every time he touched the ball, you thought he had a chance to make a house call. His build and agility reminded me so much of Barry. Hunter had the numbers and the longevity. He gets my vote.
Gundy as OC-Tatum Bell. His tightrope act at Texas is still legendary! He was the first guy since Jamal Fobbs that I can remember having an extra gear that others just didn’t have. Ran a 4.37 40. Maybe that’s why. Haha!
