Logan u asked for more 4 stars we have 5 with two get 4stars on at least 1 site. Why do we give gundy a new( or a renewal) contract, recruits. We could be like tech and usc fire the coach lose commits with realignment.
Joey ur still cherry picking. We recruit tge same as the other 8. They all have a chance to win. Gundy gives us a better chance. So of course 1 of these teams may win they all 4 could. U will be just be saying the same chit anyway. They are coaching the kids they got ur an idiot.
Gundy has caused this problem. Has taken a below 500 program and won. We tied 2 others teams to get are only title since the 40’s. One 10 win season. A program that took 14 years to have a winning record the big 8.
We’re still the same team that plays in stillwater. If we miss on a qb( ksu tech or any of them) is tuff to win. We still recruit like the other 8 schools. Causing depth problems.
Yes the sky has fallen get a new coach qb and even A PUNTER( I like that one). Heck blame the janitor. We’re 6 and 1. Anything over 9 wins is a great year for not having a punter.

LSU may be the better job because you can win championships but…you better win championships often or you are out on your butt like Coach O.
I agree with Kyle’s sentiments on the coin flip on ISU and the optimistic fast forward toward Bedlam. It is my considered opinion that any one of those teams left on our schedule are “good enough” to beat us. So much credit is given to “talent” and “eye test” in college football, but in my experience it is the mental make up of the team, each gameday, that holds the greatest effect on the final score. I remember the bowl game with tOSU a few years ago down in San Antone when the team seemed to be in a daze when they came out of the locker room, and we got our clock cleaned. Of course we all learned later than Miles had been on the phone with the LSU AD and had abandoned the team. There was also the listlessness of the team in 2011 @ Iowa St. with the distraction and sadness of the plane crash that took the lives of the Women’s BB coach and three others.
Mental toughness, each Saturday, is the main key to success. So far this season, the 'boys seem to have a handle on that.

The good news is all of the 6-6 prophecies appear to have gone away…………. I think we end up 10-2 with a loss to OU because they never take us lightly.

All this talk of Urban this and that , I don’t think he ever takes a college job again with all his controversies. USC has basically become a stepping stone to a higher paying job. Why would Joey even compare them to Nebraska 
. Nebraska is done they can’t recruit well enough and their slush funds from different counties paying their way to school their as “walk ons “ lol. LSU is the only major university in La. Plus a world of talent within 100 miles. Orgeron was a walking probation. He hit gold with Burrow. Tomato lists Clemson as a BB, they are what 4-3 and not looking good without the number 1 pick from last year. Gundy does more, way more with the kids he gets compared to likewise at other schools. Joey is still an idiot. He cherry picks the bad stats, never acknowledging The good. Just an absolute idiot who Gundy took his lunch money from him

I’m sure most of you cats are young, but USC is a much better job than LSU. Pete Carroll proved what happens when a good coach leads that program. USC has a much easier path to the playoff. Recruiting area is fertile and the weather is great. LSU has had really nice success in the last 18 yrs thanks to Saban turning that train wreck of a program around. Les Miles just had to keep the train on the track. Les’s lack of coaching ability and finding a QB who could throw a forward pass finally got him canned. Coach Ed caught lighting in a bottle with Joe Burrow. LSU is potentially a great job, but only if they can find the right guy. The LSU program of the last 2 years resembles more of the last 40 years as a whole.

Do you think your long in depth crap makes a difference? And if it does, why is Gundy 2-14 against OU and 1 for 16 in conference titles? As far as I can tell, you haven’t convinced one person that Gundy is the answer for the future of this program. So just keep bragging about being consistently 4th in the conference.
This is one aspect of OU that scares me. Rattler isn’t near the threat to run that Caleb is. I REALLY wish Riley had been too stupid to switch QBs. Probably saved their season.

Wow what a impressive list Jug… you really would hire Briles, Herman, hell any of them . Herman had 4-5 five star players and got fired. Briles ran a scumbag program. That’s just reaching. Patterson is in the middle of an area rich with recruits and he’s lost his last 3 not a one I would hire. I’m sure Joey will agree with you
