Report: Big 12 ADs Have 'Serious' Talks about Not Playing Texas Tech Following Sorsby Ruling

Fallout from Monday’s ruling.

“and that Tech “should be ashamed of itself.””

Tech is in the business of trying to create a P4 program to consistently win the conference and possibly compete for a national title. I highly doubt that the donors, alums, and fans would care less about other’s opinions on the matter.

I would think if we were in Tech’s situation we would probably have the same response. Then again, we still do have those “fans” that would rather see us go 0-12 for the sake of “doing the right thing”. Which puts you even further away from winning your own conference or making the CFP.

What color is the sky in the world where OSU would be found in a position where even a hint of an NCAA violation (much less a pole vault over a legal limit, like Taco Tech) would garner anything other than debilitating flagellation?

I think perhaps heliotrope.

Well, Baylor never even paid a price for shielding a massive culture of sexual abuse and rape for crying out loud. And that WAS the NCAA who had the say in that one. No, the missing element here was that it wasn’t OSU, that’s all. They would have padlocked every building on campus if that was us.

There must be a solution. Can the league (B12) sanction him for league games? Can states where tt plays out of state block him from playing - i believe that was a texas state judge, not federal. Think outside the box - could the B12 vacate every victory by Soresboy while at Cincinnati and threaten tt like that?
