Forget the CFP, how about a coach who can make the conference championship game. You act like finding a coach who could get us to the CFP is a long shot, yet the coach we have can’t get to the conference championship game. You might want to come back to reality.

There is a thin line between good and bad. Cincinnati lost any where, byu would had been in a new year’s bowl.
Your right there are always thin lines in chosen between a team like Cincinnati vs someone like say Stanford and the committee will likely choose perception of a program over who really deserves to go. That being said we would be Cincinnati on the outside looking in 100% of the time so you better win the conference championship and likely have to go Undefeated.

To be quite honest I’m just looking for a coach that can beat TCU and Baylor again. Forget about playing for a conference title for now. That time will come once we start proving we can be more than a dark horse for a conference title as it currently sits.
