So your idea of improvement is right where Miles had the program. Finishing in the middle of the conference and going to a low level bowl. I’m sure it would be hard to find a coach to keep that trend happening. The best this team will do is make it to the Alamo bowl. Remember Miles was getting us to the Cotton bowl and Alamo bowl.

He finish 4th and 5th. Both of those bowls have been up graded. Back in ur day the bluebonnet bowl was a big thing. Heck when u went to school the Fiesta bowl was given to 3rd or 4th place teams.

I remember the last time Gundy had 10 wins 2017. You and Gundy want to brag about 10 win seasons yet most on here consider 2017 the most disappointing season. I guess most people on here are delusional. The most delusional are the ones who think Gundy will ever win the conference again.

And I’m obviously being facetious I know Arkansas had like 4 winning seasons the last decade
It’s none of you’re business what my profession is my friend. No, I’m not either one. The one thing my profession has taught me to do is how to read people without them having to utter a single word. I’ll let you guess what that might be.
What I’ve seen is the last 8 years is stagnation and less desire to win anything meaningful.

In 2013 we were projected to win the conference. We finished 3rd. We went 10-3.

In 2015, 2016, 2017 we were projected as contenders for a Big 12 title. We didn’t have a single bedlam victory and finished 2nd, 3rd, and 3rd. Overall record 30-9.

in 2018, 2019, 2020 we were are still barely considered a contender for a Big 12 title. We didn’t have a single bedlam victory and finished 7th, 4th, and 4th. Overall record 23-14.

In 2021 we are now projected as a dark horse for a Big 12 title. We’ve lost six bedlam games in a row. Most people think we are only going to win 7-8 games.
I don’t know about you, but those results tell me we either have a talent decline or a coaching decline. The one common factor we know is that we’ve had the same coach. That tells me we NEED to improve and that we haven’t improved yet.
