Two thoughts on Big XII expansion:

  1. Less is more. Any team we add is going to water down the conference so we would be best served adding the minimum number of teams necessary to keep the conference relevant. Adding 8 Conference USA type teams IMO is a terrible idea. I think we should keep it at 10 or 12 teams at the most.

  2. Focus on Texas. Football is the name of the game and the beating heart of high school and college football is in Texas, not Florida and certainly not Memphis or Cincinnati. Texas schools are located in prime recruiting territory, make geographical sense, and have wealthy alumni who love football, which is about to be a HUGE deal in the NIL era. If we could get to five Texas schools, even if we are missing the two big dogs, we could have a legitimate claim as the conference of Texas.

The teams that jump out to me as good additions are Houston, SMU, and BYU. I am opposed to adding UCF, Memphis, or Cincinnati.

Drill K State by 40? Beat a hobbled K State team by 2 points last season. Tell me how many times since Gundyā€™s tenure have we even came close to beating them by 40?

They might not have better players, but they have a coach that acts like he wants to win. A coach determined to win can be a bad thing for a coach thatā€™s set on mediocrity.

I never said they wouldnā€™t count. All I said is heā€™ll win one before Gundy wins ANOTHER one. This is why we keep asking you to get tutored in reading and reading comprehension.

Riley will probably win a conference title in the SEC while Gundy continues to keep OSU a middle pack team in the future Big 12, PAC-12 or AAC.
