2 meh hires after a disaster season. What are we doing man. At least the DC can’t possibly be worse than Nardo but if this is what we get for OC we should’ve just kept that doofus Dunn around. Unserious program.

With these two hires, Gundy has given the middle finger to the BOR, fans, and his team. Tell me again why Gundy got to keep his job? The Pokes may win fewer games next season than this year. Truly pathetic. Gundy going down in flames and burning the house with him.

There were a few people clamoring for Meacham to replace Yurcich a few years ago, and I said back then that it wouldn’t be an upgrade (and I also probably said they were crazy). That holds true even more at this point.

The university has to approve his hires. So they actually are ok with these hires. What if this is what they wanted?

All I’m going to say is that thankfully the buyout got reduced. It looks like the BOR gave Gundy all the rope he needs to hang himself with. I’m done.

Not only did we fumble these hires, we did it during a season with minimal power 4 staff firings. A lot of guys made it off the hot seat this year and we still couldn’t make big time hires. Sad.

We are fumbling the bag during the college football version of the Industrial Revolution. Even if these hires are an improvement we’re still in the dark ages. For goodness sake WE STILL PLAY “WE READY” AND 50 CENT DURING OUR GAMES.
We’re operating like it’s 2005 — Mikey G. is steering this ship towards an iceberg.

A couple of years ago I would have hated this hire. Now though? TCU has had some dudes at WR the past few years, and perhaps Meacham has learned some new things since his stint as CO-OC under Patterson. Their offense was one of the best in passing and top 30 in points this past year. Im… not thrilled given what other names were out there, but im cautiously optimistic that this could turn out much better than a lot of us suspect on initial reaction.

Love the hire or hate it but I’ll bet you Gundy wasn’t the only person at OSU that made the decision to hire him. So save some of the moronic ragging on Gundy for others as well.

It’s an upgrade from Dunn and Nardo. However, this screams out a few things to me so far with these hires and our current transfer portal status:
- I wanna be average
- I don’t want to win the conference
- I don’t want to change
I have a feeling Gundy might be looking forward to his buyout next season 
. I guess I could be wrong. I just don’t see how two previously fired coordinators and replacing the players we’ve lost from Musk U and Piss State gets us any closer to the CFP?

This is a zero effort hire which makes sense, because its been years since Gundy has appeared to put any actual effort into running the football program.

I think Gundy’s response would be, “…and your point is…?” This achieves exactly what Gundy wanted: He gets to keep his job, make good money, and not worry too much about results.
