Your article is incorrect. Nardo coached 2 years at OSU. Two of the worst defenses in the history of college football.

One of the points of the renegotiation was Gundy giving up control of his assistant hiring. That was widely reported in every article about the renegotiation.
Also, there isn’t a reason to blame anyone for anything yet. Dude hasn’t even coached a snap for us yet.

So 2 DL coaches?
Not loving this hire for three reasons:
- Grantham hasn’t stayed anywhere more than 3-4 seasons. Why?;
- Coming from the pros…what kind of recruiting connections might he have?; and
- History of him being a real jerk while at Georgia.

#1 would be because he sucks. Florida fans were over the moon when he got fired and all their rivals wept. This guy stinks.

Todd Monken has bounced around a lot, too. Check out his wiki. Would that make you think twice about him coordinating our offense?

Lets look at Grantham’s D rank while he was at Florida. Total Opp team yards per game rank: 38, 12, 83, 34. Florida’s rank the last two seasons: 91 and 95. Yep sure looks like Florida did themselves a solid by getting rid of him.

Love this hire. Would love to see us get an OC that knows how to coach the OL too. We will turn this thing around in the trenches!!!
Just to try to be positive, let’s hope we’re going to have great technique and recruiting around the D-line. One thing we’ve lacked recently is experience play calling, and here we have it in spades.

Well Gundy if this blows up on you, a good captain goes down with his ship. I’m not banking on a successful season next year. At least give us a really good OC plz, and one that could be ready to be head coach in case this flops.
