Spencer Sanders Was Right

This has nothing to do with blacks feeling a certain way but just white people using the words “we and white privileged and be considerate to everybody. This is the very thing that blacks are feeling because of what you are doing to me right now. Irony

You keep apologizing for me but I don’t need your apologies I will continue to treat everybody the best that I can and continue to put on foot In front of the other. And all I ask is to not use the words that put us all in one category. It’s sounds like you are guilty for doing bad things to certain people in your life by doing this really or have been apart of this at one time. Be considerate to everybody

You are missing the boat, man. Like I said before, go watch some videos or do some reading from black Americans that feel passionately about this issue. Then maybe you’ll understand why everyone is picking on you right now.

Your feelings are valid. Theirs are valid too. We hear yours. Now go pay attention to theirs.

Folks on this forum: maybe we need to post some links here to help Jeff and other folks out. I get the feeling people want to understand but just doesn’t know how yet. It is a lot to digest, and will probably help the current back-and-forth.

Jeff: Here’s some good starter reading if you want to get up to speed and be an ally. https://www.theroot.com/12-ways-to-be-a-white-ally-to-black-people-1790876784

What is this word?

Why would you think that I’m not paying attention to this? I am and I feel bad that people go through this but I can only do what I can do and that is speaking up for people that don’t feel comfortable to speak their thoughts because they will be prosecuted and shamed out of their jobs for doing so. There is more going on with this situation than what you are talking about and by me bringing this to your attention might seem insensitive or lol racist but that’s not the case at all.

Sorry plural

So your reaction to hearing black people speak up about their personal experiences is to speak up for aggrieved white people?

If someone is being prosecuted or shamed out of their job, its more than likely because they said something ignorant, racist, or dangerous…so you feeling like you need to defend those type of people is baffling.

Gonna shut this thread down. It’s become very unproductive.
