My OL just blocked so well he won this games version of the Maxwell Award :joy:

Also, just finished back to back 15-0 seasons, and my all time record as HC is 37-0. 11 more games and I will own the FBS record for consecutive wins.

Still no OSU offer, I did get one from Kansas and I got one from Colorado and considered pretending I was Coach Prime, but I’ve got a bunch of upper classmen coming back at Tulsa that I want to see through.

Do you go through and update Jersey colors for every single team you play / use? Wasn’t sure how much editing could be done:

You can. I’ll link you to a reddit post with all the correct colors. I haven’t done it yet because it’ll take forever, but I did update all the names of everything to be correct.

Got Little Saban in our presence.

No, I just know how to exploit certain coverages in this game really really well because it’s 90% a reskin of the NFL version :joy:

(I have beaten Sabin in back to back Natty’s though, one was 52-50 triple OT and the second was 31-28 and I scored the go ahead TD with no time left on the clock.)

would figure out things go well when you just force feed your best players

What difficulty?

Was on dynamic, stuck me on dynamic 12 for an entire undefeated season and I got bored so I bumped it up to hard.

I’m so jealous

Yeah I pretty much know what to run on every single play lol. Get a star WR and a quick QB and you can pick up a first down at the very least on every single play.

Yup. Probably noticed but there’s a glitch where when the QB runs the ball you get the spot at the end of the slide, that does work against you if he gets drilled and thrown back but it’s pretty rare.

Also tight ends are arguably more broken than fast wide receivers because in certain coverages there will be no one within 15 yards of them guaranteed.

I played my first season in Retro Bowl college and only had the starting quarterback, the starting tight end and a freshman running back as my star players on offense.

I’ve been on extreme because I’ve spent way too much time playing the original, that’s tough as hell especially early on before you load up the talent.

Extreme is never something I’ve wanted to put myself through because it basically turns into play clock simulator the game for me.

I do respect those who decided to play on it though

Yeah you can exploit from any position really. I still think WR is the most effective / quickest to score with, and if you run a go route with a strong armed QB it’s almost guaranteed to score. But I’ve noticed throwing to the back out of the backfield if he’s a star player is also typically wide open. Sucks when you play a team that blitzes a lot against a back driven team though.

I think Retro Bowl College could end up being harder in general than the original cause you have to deal with roster turnover much more often. I’m the original once you inevitably loaded up with all 4 or 5 star talent you could run with that for like 15 seasons and be basically unstoppable.

I swear I’ve looked all over the place. If there something I’m missing for turning off the automatic relays? I swear I’ve scoured the settings!

Is there a way to change your KO returner? Think it’s dumb that I have a 4 star WR and a 4 star RB and we’ve got can of corn guy from longest yard back there returning kicks.
