Itâs just crazy to me youâve got a guy thatâs the 12th highest paid coach in America and nobody ever asks him tough questions at his pressers. You should expect rough questions when youâre getting outcoached by a G5 coach in the middle of bum-phuck-no-where Alabama.

Tell about the first play. Why didnt it work out. Was it a bad call or bad blocking. I will take bad blocking and calls over what is really happening. 2 turnovers, 2 massive drops, 9 flags and bad tackling.
Of course we can still get to 10 wins, i know you guys are smart enough to look what happens outside of stillwater. Go and tell me who on are schedule has wow you. It all depends on the kids. If they start executing their jobs itâll be fine. I dnt care if the best oc in the world is calling the plays if the kids dnt execute.

Iâll give you the drops but the rest of that stuff falls on the coaches more than the players. The players from South Alabama knew exactly what weâre doing because of the complete incompetence of the coaching staff.
If we lose in Ames, 10 wins becomes nearly impossible. OU is a lot better. Kansas is a lot better. WV just beat Pitt. UCF might be a lot better. Thereâs 5 losses right there.
The QB carousel is just stupid at this point. Our top RB is getting like 6 carries per game. So, even with better playcalling, opportunities are so limited. Youâre right, kids have to execute. Receivers dropping passes hurts. The penalties hurt. But maybe those things wouldnât happen if our most sure-handed players were targeted more. Maybe if we settled on 1 QB, some of the issues could be fixed. The OLwill not be fixed until Dickey is gone. So you pick the QB who gives you the best chance playing behind that dumpster fire. And you stick with him.
Defensively, there is no way some dude from South Alabama should go for 150 yds. and 2 TDâs against us at home. Tackling has to be better. Which they say they been doing more in practice. Canât tell yet. I hope Gundy goes 4-8 like I predicted and they put some heat on him to make changes or GTHO.

How come when South Alabama drops a pass which forces a punt (their second drive), they have no problem coming back on their 3rd drive and scoring? Yet when we drop a pass like our first drive, we go into a shell and pray for the opponent to use vaseline for the reaming they give us.

to @Robert28: Is there a level of ineptitude where you would be critical of OSU football? If so, what does it look like? Does it require the team to be 0-12? Is it a losing season? All BS aside, what would it take for your response to the teamâs performance to be something other than âAw shucks we lost, maybe we can win next week.â Its clear that my expectations of the program and yours are miles apart, but out of a mutual respect for OSU fandom, Iâm genuinely interested in understanding where your expectations fall.
to @michael13: Do you still think this is a team that can assume its getting an invite to the big boys table when the next realignment comes?

It wouldnât have been a good to say take a hike, but if youâre offended by a freaking t-shirt (and someone supports that softness) it just as bad.
Being in touch with these kids (over political stances) might be one of the dumbest things a coach can do. Hubbard actually said âif you canât support me then donât cheer for me.â No offense, but if you werenât at OSU I would have never known who he was. Hubbard was vocal, but letâs not act like that entire locker room supported his views (thatâs some very narrow tunnel vision).
All of that being said, Iâve supported Gundy for the past few years, but his energy and desire just isnât there anymore. He either needs to fire Dunn right now to show he cares or he needs to announce this is his last season so we can work on getting a good coach in that wonât view us as a stepping stone. We canât afford to fall with the new Big 12 starting.

Why would Gundy retire? He gets paid 7.5M to coach his kidâs football team with zero accountability for the results.

Dickey needs to be the first one fired out of the cannon with Dunn right behind him IMO. The shirt was just dumb it isnât even really a matter of being offended or what not. It is just a dumb and bad look.

In answer to your question about would we be in the top 60-70 teams ? As of right now yes. Not many have a better body of work than we do in the last 20 years. You want to harp on the last ten games !! It hasnât been pretty for sure. But tell me who gets in over us , discounting BB âŚ. There are some , but let me ask you if some of the teams already in say B10 , SEC. ACC , how many of the Vanderbilts and a Indianaâs do you think they say take a hike ? Do they let them stay when they offer nothing ? Iâll say if this team stays as bad as it is they wonât let Gundy go on. Who in the ahead B12 is in over us ?
