Okay… I’ll try to keep it as closely related as I can since EVERYTHING is censored here. I guess I can’t complain too much. This is your blog and you have a right to censor anything you don’t want hear If it doesn’t meet your standards.

I don’t care what race you are. I just wish you would present some kind of credible and reliable source for your support on certain groups since you haven’t done that yet.

I’ve been back and forth on this issue, and it’s not because I didn’t believe what you were reporting. Maybe I was in denial. Maybe it’s because I can’t think clearly with everting going on in the world. I don’t know. Maybe reading the other article finally slammed it home for me. That might not be fair to you because I realize it’s a similar take to yours.
I appreciate the effort you put onto this site. I probably should become a PFB+ member what I consumed over the years.

You don’t know what I’m referencing? This entire story is about power. It’s not about a shirt. It’s not about racism. It’s not about any of that stuff. Gundy isn’t a racist. Not even close. However, he is somebody who says and does whatever he wants whenever he wants. That’s bad for every party involved, and it’s been going on for years. That needs to be brought into the light. Thankfully Chuba was somebody who could do it and he did.

When all the dust settles on the ordeal one of the saddest results, in my own opinion, will be a severely tainted if not severed relationship between Oklahoma State’s winningest football coach and the University, alumni, and fan base. I’ve had my own qualms with Gundy, some as of recent, and there’s been times I’ve said ‘just get rid of him’ but regardless, I can’t think of anything cooler than Gundy being introduced at halftime in 2031, 20 years after winning a Big 12 title, and getting to tell my child about the “Gundy” days. About how he stuck around when everyone else either couldn’t cut it or used us a a stepping stone. That being said, everyone should be held accountable. I just hope there’s a way that can be done that doesn’t jeopardize Gundy’s relationship with his, and my, Alma Mater.

So KP you have decided that HCMG should be punished because he speaks his mind?? Who are you to decide that?? You keep talking about Gundy’s “unchecked power” but I have yet to see any specific examples of that. Please do an article citing specific things, not just generalizations, that HCMG has done that are clearly wrong and need to be corrected. Then we can all judge if what you are saying is true. So far wearing a t-shirt might be one although for me it’s not. What else is there?

This seems like a story designed to stir the pot and generate replies. Gundy apologized - multiple times - and has promised to work with Hubbard and other players to fix issues. Hubbard said that was a framework for moving forward. Doesn’t seem like much of a story here.
