Well we are 100 million shy of competing with tOSU so 30 mil would help but we’d still be 70 mil short. Not enough IMO
How is a baseball stadium selling our football program? These dudes don’t care about that unless they are playing both sports for the school.
I’m sure the golf team being good would attract some good football recruits.
Gonna need a boat load of NIL money to get anywhere near that golf program and course. $400 a round lol. Ridiculous.
Logan I gave a list as examples of stuff in stillwater.
There aren’t many selling points. We’re giving pony rides to 300 lb line man.
Look I said what can be said. It’s obvious there are guys on here that need to cry.
I have already said the football team will get more money. But the softball deal will happen if u want it ur not.
Worry about keeping your own coaches on the roster…
Yes we know Robert!!! Keep a coach that hasn’t won anything meaningful in 10 years and has a different excuse every season. We got it!!!
After the 2018 year I dnt remember to many people saying Knowles was a genius. Gundy told him he would have to change up his scheme.
For now we will have to see which players he take after Jan 1. And which super seniors and still coming back.
This is more important then talking about Knowles leaving.
If tosu only fired the DC then we should not lose any coaches.
I think patterson would understand he wouldn’t get big pay. But, he would be able to prove himself .
Dnt be would about recruits we only have 5. Done would be going with Knowles.
Wv lost there DC
Baylor lost there top recruiters.
Tech is going to have a defense they are pull good recruits.
Tcu is really behind on recruiting.
I have some questions about the numbers in this article, but it indicates that Baylor’s total athletic budget and Football specific budget are both bigger than OSU’s. It’s from last year, but I highly doubt that Baylor halved their athletic budget in the last year and it didn’t make news.
The real question is how are we allowing Kansas outspend us in football? That is pretty ■■■■ sad.
Because Kansas is wanting to be more serious about their football program than OSU. I wonder how long it will be before Kansas starts going to play for Big 12 championships when we’re sitting on the outside looking in.
The fact of the matter is they have $7 million less in revenue and invested $6 million more into their football program than OSU did.
They still came out with a $14.5 million net. If OSU is coming out with a net of close to $28 million, then what in the hell are we doing with it?
As of right now Kansas is 3rd in the Big 12 for its athletic budget: http://cafidatabase.knightcommission.org/fbs/big-12#!quicktabs-tab-where_the_money-1
Even Kansas is more serious than we are about it. I guess they are more concerned with trying to establish championship football than we are.
Quick move those goal posts.
Why are you so concerned about Baylor? Surely with Gundy at the helm we’ll dominate the new Big 12 conference.
You made a statement that looked incorrect on its face. 10 seconds of googling confirmed that. Thought everyone should know that Baylor does not have half the budget we do.
That’s fine, but you never answered the other question. Why is Baylor investing more into football with lesser revenue than OSU?
That was holder. When u asked ur mom for more cookies saying u would be better, did she.
If your going to make a statement or sentence at least be clear about it.
It’s very clear u can’t answer it. Joey every time u get in a bind u resort to these tactics.
So when we get 4-5 years down the road, and let’s say more money has been invested into football. When we are sitting around watching other teams play for conference titles, will that be Shrum and Weiberg’s fault? Or Gundy’s?
