Yeah, 31.5 was the over under for wins set by vegas before the season. Wild.
The Thunder have the chance to win 4 in a row starting tonight against some bad teams. Could see a little standings jump if we get a little help.
Also should be the favorite in 8 of the next 10, the two being Boston and Denver.

By the way, totally random comment…but Luka Doncic. That kid is incredible. I’m honestly shocked he’s doing this well.
I’m not. That sounds so conceited but the tape was there.The NBA writers knew he’d be special. So many teams are terrified of taking foreign players it’s ridiculous. He’s something though that’s for sure and he’s not even hit his “prime”

What is the protection on the Denver pick? I thought it was unprotected.

Oh, we’re 99% getting it, I just want it to be absolutely guaranteed.
The tricky part here is trying to make sure that your own pick lands in the Top 20 this year. The Thunder are going to make the playoffs and they will need to lose in the first round. I think they would then need help to keep their pick in the Top 20.
What happens in the playoffs doesn’t affect draft pick order. 1-14 are in the lottery and 15-30 are just in reverse order of regular season record.

For some reason I thought it worked like the NFL where the champion picks last no matter what seed and the picks before that are a weird conglomeration of when you lost in the playoffs and your regular season record. Or I may be way off base there too.
@go_pokes_1 is correct. Draft order is determined by regular season record.
I like this site to keep up with where we are at with pick protections.

Yep. Will get Denver’s pick for sure because they won’t have a bottom 10 record but we need to stay out of being a top 10 record to keep our own pick. Only 2.5 games out of 10th overall right now.
