You can help your pick chances by tanking, since the teams with the worst records get more balls in the lottery and the champ gets the fewest.
Yes, but the Thunder aren’t going to be in the lottery unless they give away every player. So they want to finish below the top 10 best records to keep our pick.
I hope we put him on an actual contract soon. He’s been playing really well, especially for someone who is an undrafted rookie.

Expect this to happen after the trade deadline. He needs to keep playing like he has been though to get it. Probably will try to dump a salary (Roberson or Muscala) then use that money to convert his contract to NBA.

After reading that Ringer article, I want the Thunder to:
A.) Tank.
B.) Trade for Devin Booker in the offseason (if he’s not a free agent).
Booker is under contract until 2024 and would take all 15 first rounders and SGA to get him from Phoenix.

I really want the Thunder finish this season out and then try and get something for a Gallo sign and trade this off-season. By the start of next season we should probably have a better idea on if we should start tanking or ride it out and see what our draft picks turn into.

As long as this team stays in tact the way it is now they’re going to make the second round.

Percentage points behind 6th and a game out of 5th. 3 games out of hosting in the 1st round of the playoffs!
At this point their pick is kinda… meh. The odds of hitting on a guy where we’d be picking are slim. Plus we’ve got Denver’s. I’d be surprised if we didn’t trade up as well.
The more chances, the better. That’s my simple philosophy.

I’m a little disappointed that the Thunder didn’t go after Covington. He is kind of a perfect fit for the team.
He’s also going to make Houston better, even though Russ may be the only person in Houston that can get a rebound.
